Does it mean the GOIL Filling station which got burnt was sitting on waterway? To the best of my knowledge this station has been there for more than 40yrs,why now?Scientifically we're all illiterates as said by OECD.

The increasing number of petrol and gas stations in Accra alone need much to be desired, unlike about a decade ago,the sitting of gas stations in the country were carefully planned to avoid future desaster, but in recent times when the black gold begun to flow in our country, things have dramatically changed for the worse, and scenes of petrol and gas stations have been planted at infillings left between each accommodated house to give way for a petrol station ostensibly to make money, forgetting the envaronmental degredation engulfing the area killing the population gradually, such examples can be found in all the slum areas of Accra especially at Teshie Nungua proper, and its environments, Labadi,Osu, etc which pose a time bomb against the people of these areas, notwithstanding the fact that, all these electoral areas have their reprensentation in Parliament,oh, Ghanan, when are we going to have civility in our democratic dispensation.Even though Iam not a prophet of doom,I can say that, there would be a time when all these inter connected gas and petrol stations would cause a big explosion and the result can be any ones prediction. The authorities concerned must take a second look at it to ameliorate the situation to avoid a future big bang which can cause countless lifes and properties of great dimension.A stich in time saves nine.

You whip up emotions and instigate authorities to demolish people's property on supposed water ways.l'm surprised that most of you travel out a lot of late but some contributions you make towards national development leaves much to be desired. The government has admitted its failure to secure the Conti loan which could bring an end to the flooding in Accra yet you guys are clamouring for more demolition! Japan and China are reclaiming land from the sea and you are here finding scapegoats!
