Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

( 2 ) Were all of the men on the same final salary at the time the figures were computed , even though they were recruited at different yrs . ( 3) Did ur outfit over estimated the men's entitlement so that u could have surplus , which sometimes u are authorised to use in other areas of importance . (4) Under which "F. E " or financial item does that surplus fall . It's very unfortunate that almost all Ghanaians in positions of trust take the rest of Ghanaians for fools and ignorant or empty heads . It is said "he who knows not that he knows not is a fool ". This has resulted in the younger generations disrespecting the present generation of leaders in Ghana including those in elective political office , including ex and present presidents . Officers , appointed and appointing overseeing our institutions have become corrupted and white colour thieves . I always pray God that in his mercy should save the nation so that one military lunatic does explode unto the scene . Eg; ration dere is problem , vehicles have no batteries n some ar eye saw, l wish de president will go on a visit to all operational theaters n see what de soldiers go through, dey go through tough tyms yet de same officers which president commitioned ar being favoured,

The military's shoddy deals concerning soldiers' pensions over the years are being brought to light. Whichever way one looks at it, it is morally wrong to intentionally overestimate the amount payable without informing the approving authority After what you claim to be an overestimate has been approved, what do you do with the surplus after paying the soldiers what is due them which is lower than what has been approved? And the military's spokesman is not ashamed to say that at times they seek authorisation to use it for for other activities. This is official stealing!!!
And look at the lie that they do the overestimate because salaries might increase at the time the soldiers are retiring. Every worker knows that if salaries increase after such estimates have been made and approved, another computation is made to pay the shortfall as arrears.
If this is how the military do their business, it is unfortunate because no one espects the military of all institutions to steal government money. This must be punished.

Actually the GAF needs external Auditors from UN bcos all the officers, especially the CDS, COAS, & AThe other service commanders are thieves, stealing the poor soldier and their wives daily. EBOLA monies were paid by the UN to all peace keepers in Ebola countries but what happened, this corrupt criminals stole all this monies and told soldiers that they were not entitled. Recently the UN gave out some monies to Troops Contributing Countries to show appreciation to them but what happened former CDS & that most criminal former minister General Smith stole that money too and when Woyongo asked when he took over, that horrible Blah & Smith said they have paid that money into ndc coffers as their dues . Really the GAF & her senior, junior officers are extremely criminals & corrupt than the Ghana Police. They are stealers, thieves, fiafitoor, Malawi, & jurors. Vote this corrupt ndc out and bring NPP so that some snr officers in the GAF will go to jail. Even when troops go on peacekeeping this officers , for the sake of money sells ration met for the troops to the civilians. This is simple. Sweeping the GAF would not affect only the SOLDIERS. Govt should remember that his soldiers are crying for JUSTICE.

Soon we will surprise u all if the powers that be continue to take we the soldiers for granted. 37 Military Hospital is collapsed and corruption is highest. No soldier want to go there because they will be killed out of neglect and negligence. No accommodation for us, those available are in very poor state and we have to use our own money to renovate them even though we have money for that. The top senior officers use the money for themselves. We are aware. That will not continue forever. The everybody for himself God for us all practice must stop now. Again the favouritism to a particular tribe in the military will only explode soon in our face. Everybody is tired of the visionless leadership in the Military. Even common uniform for work is not given yet we continue to make money for the state. Now we soldiers and our families have to possesss the NHIS card before we can access healthcare at the 37 Military Hospital. What a country. Some are working but becoming poorer everyday whiles others become rich overnight because they work at the Pay Office. Soon the usual Ghanaian Talk will be over and the accountability and sin attonment is near than expected. You the officers should continue to watch your backs. It will spill in our faces soon.

Lt col Aggrey Quarshie is a disgrace to the profession. He was saying the amount was calculated ahead to factor to pay increment. Col should be asked how much was given to 1986/1987 year groups. What did the Maj Gen Saaebul (COS) said when he was in Lebanon for a medal day. Truth is one, if he fails to say it because of his position fine, He should not lie. Why the Defence Financial Controller(DFC) was not invited to calculate personally to the soldiers rather the COS who just rubbishing all questions asked. Also Col Quarshie lied about the meeting of CDS and 1988 and 1989 year group, CDS was missing, COS attended that for him for fear of embarrassment. He only met 1986 and 1987 year groups to refund their transport money the CDS did pay. Why should this happen in this modern era. I challenge Lt Col Quarshie to go in for further and better particulars from his masters and come again, Some of us know how to calculate the benefits. If he wants he should meet at Law Court for us to calculate and justify.

There is nothing fishy about the real payments being made to our gallant retired soldiers. I Will advice them to stop being mischievous. They know the regulations on payment of T&T. But my concern is the culture of overbloated budgets in Ghana. The Director of DPR has revealed the rationale behind it. It is unfortunate that we live in a country nobody demands questions or enquiry into such criminal intent. I won't be surprised that despite theses red flags being raised the money Will be to GAF and remaining balances Will never be accounted for. Lets also not forget that we have WOs from FPO and DFCs outfit amongst the current retirees who might have executed these dubious operations in the past. We are crying that there is no money in the country but the state is dashing millions to individuals everyday through such schemes. We have forgotten that little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. GOG must be serious in its financial dealings. We must aimed at achieving realistic estimates. This hue and cry is an indication of mistrust and leadership. If the soldiers have more information on any intention of anybody to cheat them them they should produce. But those pre-audit information doesn't mean they should be allow to go home with what they don't deserve.

The officers are honey monkeys eager to spend the little monies belonging to our dear Other Ranks. Meanwhile if it comes to the pure soldier work is the other ranks who does it. Mr. President be very vigilant if not this same GAF officers will sabotage you. Please set a firm auditing team to audit this people always because I learnt if the auditor's come to audit then they bribe them.

Pls Mr Mahama is about time u stand up and change the Rules of the GAF bcos is not helping the Order Range (OR) why im i saying that if after working for GAF for good 25yrs and u are to go on pension you are not allow to go with your monthly salary but reader half of the salary to pension n if u watch the officers after 24 to 25 yrs in the work n u want to go home u dey allow to take they are monthly salary to de huse or pension why can't they do the same to the order ranges bcos de maximum in the OR is 25yrs please Mr President help the GAF .....Please they all need ur help
