Ignorant pricks in these Unions. They know nothing of how business works and only how to con Ghanaians out of union fees

What do they mean by "lopsided remuneration". Do they expect Ghanaian workers to be paid the same as the expatriates? They must remember that the Ghanaian workers came to the job with zero experience and are been trained by the company while the expatriates came already trained and with years of experience. Besides, the work ethics and dedications the expatriates brings to work does not exist with Ghanaians. The GTPCWU leadership should rather concentrate on educating their union members to change their attitude and learn from the expatriates to increase productivity rather than giving unnecessary altimatum.

Companies are looking for ways to improve process to maximize profit. This is what the government and the ministries have refused to do to get you out of your present problems. No company will use all its profit to pay workers. The companies are in for money too. Remember money has alternative uses.

In other words, the company should cut exploration and appraisal, and use the funds to pay workers? That's myopic.
