It is nice for Ghanaians to help victims and their families but the churches should advise those affected to get good lawyers and sue the responsible parties (GOIL and perhaps government) involved in causing damage, injury and death. It should be on victims terms and not vise versa. Ghanaians should stop this nonsense of "give it to God" and ask for necessary compensations. Until we start hurting the responsible parties in their bank accounts they will not learn any lessons. This malfeasance and nonfeasance has to STOP now. Let them PAY!!!

For once the Christian Council is nationalistic and not partisan. This is beautiful for our democracy. I hope government take your suggestions serious and not political as they usually do.
