Hooting and jeering was not enough, the crowd should have pelted them with stones and any projectiles that were available at the scene.

These fools voted to divert more than 600 million dollars for construction of culverts that could have stopped the perennial flooding in Accra. These fools diverted the money to projects where they got their 10% cuts to put up these Petrol stations in residential neighborhoods which unfortunately good citizens of our country have to pay for with their dear lives.

The KOOKOASE politics need not throw itself into the national mourning. And this is exactly the root causes of all the EVILS in our society, each one for him/herself.

When you find teachers, nurses, doctors etc etc continue to go to work when their salaries are not paid for more than a year, one has to wonder how they survive on a daily basis.

The Govt. is deeply corrupt and so are the people themselves. What we are seeing here is the result of the pervasive corruption in the country.

Sad that we have lost fellow Ghanaians in this saga. May the souls of those who lost their lives for ever rest in perfect peace. Could have been anyone. Now the question remains as to how Can we prevent such an eary occurrence? The onus goes to our elcted officials and governmental agencies who have for the longest neglected such needed projects such as functional gutters, sewage, water drainage etc for lining their pockets with the untraditional 10%. This ought to be a thing of the past. This inferno ought to serve as a remindewr to our politicians who keep on failing us, who do not have a love for GHana or its citizens who have voted them to power. I believe this should serve as a strong awakening for all of us. Bribery and corruption and seeking self interest whilst in public service must go. NPP, NDC, PNDC, CPP are all guilty of this atrocity and wickedness towards the people of Ghana. Buildings collapsing and innocent lives lost because someone cut corners and diverted funds into thier pockets. Wake up my fellow Ghanaians hold our leadership accountable. Do not be afraid.

You know why other countries are developing?its because they invest more in vocational education whose students or graduate can put something on the ground,rather than those graduates here who can not even draw a car tyre when is already been made by somebody else.

This is a simply common sense which does not need rocket science.When it rains in Accra,there are some flood prone zones which has always suffered casualties.That means these flood prone zones have been identified long time ago.As I speak,we know all the areas below sea level in Accra but we have not taken any preventive measures backed by laws.Natural disasters happen everywhere in the world but we must learn to avoid or prevent them by laws from parliament.I think the Town and City Planners must help the parliament to pass relative laws on how to build houses and respect the environment.Thank you.
