So far as the leaders of the country don't do anything about the constant inflow of people into Accra, you will continue to see disasters like this. And what are 75 people doing at one filling station ? Unreal.

Ghanaians looking for a money from villages live on the streets of Circle Nii Tsokor so that is how come there could be that many in the death toll. Ghana needs political will social and moral high ground. We the citizens need to back officials when they tear buildings on water ways and not just end there demand that the other officials that legally permitted such acts due to greed and selfishness be pinalised and dealt with in a court of law.
It is up to every one of us to say enough is enough. If only the current government will be true to the letter and start demolishing illegal buildings and structures let all support. If they don't let's hold them accountable to their promise.
Sad day for our motherland. Why at 58 we still struggle when it rains. Eei then if it was a tornado or hurricane we will all perish. Arise Ghanaians for your mother land needs you to preserve her dignity.

My heart goes out to the families of the dead. To the dead, I say kpoo. It seems Ghana is clueless and visionless. That is Ghana for you. It's about time our laws were implemented to the letter.

floods happen everywhere and so does drought....in recent weeks, Texas in d USA has been so flooded with people dying and california is in drought...and this is from a so called developed country..we have to accept man can't fight nature and leave politicians out of this...
we make our neighbourhoods congested and when unfortunate things happen, we blame goverment for it! and when they try in their own way to make certain things regulated, we go on strike!
all Ghanaian government/politicians are the same and regardless of who comes into power it's going to be remain the same, until the people/ghanaians change themselves, no government can ever seem better than the other!!! peace!

....And yet another year of disaster. It happened last year, the year before, 2 years before and so many more years before that. Our politicians ONLY delight in being in power and stealing money, Period. They wear fake Amani suits and the women dress like decorated donkeys and call themselves honorable, yet cannot reason beyond petty stealing. When will these clowns for once think to solving this persistent cycle of 'mass murder' of Ghanaians. It's getting too much and too often.
