If renting is that good for the benefit of the tenants and the landlords, why is SSNIT moving away gradually from rental units provision? Land acquisition and capital requirements are huge cost. Without soft loans from the Government over a long period no company can rent to breakeven. Where in Ghana now can one borrow to build a house for rent to pay off the loan?
