The time has come for the NPP to use Adam Mahama as a sacrificial lamb to forge together, and end all the pettiness, self agrandizement that seem to be sinking the party. Ex-Prez. Like most people some of the Nana supporters suspect that because of the trouble between the late Mahama and Afoko and co, they are responsible. Responsible in the sense that they escalated the troubles to the extent of someone taking it too far. As we speak, there's no hard evidence against anyone yet so don't draw conclusions. As for motives or benefits, even the ndc will benefit from all this confusion so if you are going to base your suspicion on who is going to benefit, then point your finger at them too. The ndc benefited from the death of Mills as per rawlings, remember? Is that evidence that they killed him? No speculation will do any one good at the moment. We don't even know what was going on Mahama's private life. It could be a jealous lover or anything. The police need to earn their salary. They need to come up with hard evidence.

How can a weak leader lead the rough and stubborn people like the people one sees in the NPP. Amoako, the so called political scientist of political bigotry if not tribal should by now have known the weak mindedness of Kufour's political stand in Ghana's political arena.

Kufour has not got good records hence his weakness to speak. If Amoako fails to know that then he should stay back from our political issues. Amoako shows no morality based on the truth that Ghana needs to grow and develop based on political and national unity. In short we call it national love and patriotism.

The annoying issue is that he knows that the NDC government is doing its best to improve the energy and economic situation in the nation, yet he attacks Mahama very badly on every good issues. He is not after Ghana's progress but after a tribal political party's progress. He has to change that evil and selfish mentality, else he takes off his hands of Ghana's issues.

With his foolish hypocracy and tribal/ political bigotry he has been misleading the populace from the reality of the good efforts our government is rendering to better things now and in the future.

Basically his comments shows that he was highly aware that there is truth in all the appeals the Mahama administration has been making to the public that things would be okey in the very near future if there could be patience from all political quarters, and without any undermining strategies to frustrate the good efforts being made.

In short Amoako is a political bigot. He is as well a wizard in the negative sense as he wishes the downfall of the NDC. Besides all things he knows the NPP are full of people with characters in question, and that is why he is appealing to Kufour, Addo Kufour etc. These characters are at stake today with the acid issue over the death of the regional chairman.

Ghanaians need to wake up and understand what politics mean. PoliticS is about managing a nation and therefore calls for morality which unfortunately can not be shown in this disgraceful acts in the NPP with the death of the Adam Mahama.

Two things to watch are (a) Power struggle in NPP is still simmering. There are folks who want Nana to lose again so they can cut loose Bawumia's political career. This group is fearful of Bawumia and his chances of leading the NPP after Nana's Presidency in 2020. The members in this group include Richard Anane and Arthur Kennedy. (b) The NDC has identified this fissure and it's taking advantage of it at the blind side of NPP followers. The NDC knows it cannot win the 2016 elections on their merit or performance, hence they want to sow a seed of self-destruction in the NPP. In the process, they have managed to get the U/E NPP Chairman in a horrible death. The circumstances surrounding his death wrongly points to the involvement of Kwabena Agyapong and Afoko. These two guys could be innocent but the rope entangles them to the killing because the act was purposely designed to bring division in the NPP. My advice is that all NPP members should exercise patience and wait for the outcome of police investigation. Kennedy Agyapong seems to have fallen into the NDC plan to plant a division in the NPP. Please wise up! Stop shooting from your hip. Leaders of the NPP party must come out and caution members to exercise absolute patience and measure what they say. Arthur Kennedy must not allow himself to be taste the NDC's bait in this matter. If the NDC could kill Arkaa and President Atta Mills for power, they can easily plant a seed of division in the NPP. May God save the NPP!

History is a guide to events that happens in the future and that is why it is said, when you forget your history, you might as well forget the future.
Times of sorrow, hurt, anger, pain and inflamed passions is also not the time to speak to issues especially when it involves the loss of life.
It is therefore not for any reason that, all the leading figures including the flagbearer of the NPP have called for calm.
The investigations would reveal that, this attack was from deep within the NDC party.
There are a number of issues at play here carefully orchestrated by the NDC party first to 1. provoke the NPP party and in this regard, the issue of history comes into play and 2. to build on the over flogged issue of a. seeming divisions and b. misunderstandings amongst a few party leaders to cause implosion in the NPP party.
NPP needs to remain very calm, very, very calm lest they fall into the trap set by the NDC party because it is a very huge trap and it calls for very cold, calm, sober reflection and rational thinking and not one given to emotions, passions and anger.

So whilst there's no evidence yet to prove Afoko of Kwabena agyapong were directly behind the murder, their actions or omissions resulted in the death and can be deemed to be gross misconduct which can lead to the sacking of those two.
