Why should we believe you when none of your promises and forecasts have ever come to pass. Again, if even we should believe you, why should it take your ditching of our economy in the first place for you to come up with better policies? Is it the case that you were learning on the job?

Most countries in Africa are now producing oil . What is going to happen is that supply will exceed demand and the oil price will be low. New entrants will not be able to pay off the capital investment in the oil fields and make decent returns. Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda etc will be pumping oil. Iran, the shale gas producers in USA and Canada also going too pump more oil We need to also focus on our manufacturing sector, agriculture/ agro processing and value add industries. Oil alone will not save Ghana , there is oversupply in the world.

We even import onions and tomatoes abuy the North and Afram Plains are bread baskets to be exploited. How many jobs will oil create compared to the other sectors of the economy being ignored. With the low Maths and Science ratings, how are we going to get qualified artisans, technicians ,engineers etc to run the oil fields.Much of the income will go to foreigners and the ordinary Ghanaian will see nothing of the oil.
