Minimizing the accomplishments of those who have put in their blood, sweat ad tears to lift Ghana higher will not take you one step ahead in life's endeavors. What do you call a Ghanaian who is voted African football coach of the year? How many Ghanaians have achieved this feat. How many Ghanaians have played for Black Stars, lifted the AFCON, coached the national team, coached local clubs and also lifted several continental titles while at it? Even Ibrahim Sunday's resume can not match that of Sir Cecil. Ghanaians must remember to revere and also honour our heroes who have lifted our national pride and blazed glorious paths of excellence for many of us to tread. Please do your homework.

I met this man in Washington, DC, USA when I migrated here. I knew of his tremendous soccer skills in the good old days in Ghana and some short-lived professional play here with the Washington, DC Diplomats (a football club at that time).
He went to University in New Jersey and later became a bank manager in the Washington, DC metropolitan area before returning home for good. In short, he contributed his quota to Ghana's football development, to himself, his family, his country and the kingdom he became a traditional chief of.

DO YOU HAVE TO ASK IF THEY WERE TEAMMATES? THAT'S A STUPID QUESTION. YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW THIS. YOU JUST HAVE TO REASON IT. IT'S SO EASY TO REASON OUT.
YES, THEY WERE TEAMMATES!
THE SAME GUYS, IN THEIR 70s, DIED IN THE SAME WEEK. THEY LIVED IN DIFFERENT CITIES. THEY DIED AT DIFFERENT HOSPITALS.
YOU DID NOT HEAR OF ANYONE ATTACKING THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY, YET YOU CHOSE TO ASK IF THEIR DEATHS WERE A COINCIDENCE?
YES, THEY WERE A COINCIDENCE!
ARE THEY GOING TO GIVE GYAU TOO A STATE BURIAL? WE DON'T KNOW YET.
BUT THAT ONE IS A GOOD QUESTION BECAUSE IT DOES NOT LEND ITSELF TO AN ANSWER JUST BY READING THE STORY, SO MALLAM, DON'T BE STUPID!

This legend was not just a great footballer. He was a good accountant, selfless individual who in spite of his good financial standing still advocated for the poor folks in the association to be cared for. Unlike any other footballer he took advantage of the U.S educational system and educated himself and his family. Right after school, he came back home and served the nation as coach of B/A Unite, a member of the governing board of the Bank of Ghana, a founder and the President of the Old Players of Ghana Football and as Attpimhene of the Berekum Traditonal Council. Besides that, he was very decorous with his speech and humble in facet of his life in spite of wealth and position. Nana some of us the younger have learnt a lot from your Humility and gentility. May your gentle soul rest in peace.
