GENERAL AKUFFO run to the glergy during the 1979 coup because of the respect Ghanaians had for them. Today, NDC HAS MADE NONSENSE OF THAT. THEY INSULT THE CLERGY LIKE THERE IS NO HEAD ON THEIR BODY. REMEMBER, BEFORE IT WAS ''3Y3 KANEA, 3Y3 HAAN.'' RECENTLY, it was a call to pass a law that will allow THEM to STONE OUR WOMEN when they make mistakes. Today, NDC IS LABELING OUR WOMEN CELEBRITIES WHO ARE NOT YET MARRIED AS PROSTITUTES. NDC is disrespecting our women and Ghanaians in general, and it is getting worse by each passing day. Remember Ayariga's insult of our JOURNALISTS. VOTE MAHAMA AND HIS USELESS AND DISRESPECTFUL NDC OUT IN 2016.

That's all. The government and indeed the past ones has nothing to show that they did any thing to arrest the high interest rates.
I have questioned the rational of state officials tasked with the responsibility to of micro management, who refuse to do anything or say anything to soften the pain such high interest rates inflicts on the people, companies and employees.
The managers at the Bank of Ghana are always sleeping or more likely than not, they just don't care. How long are we to allow such a situation to continue without realising that it is a national emergency by now. Code Red! It has been Code Red for over 20 plus years now and we still don't get it, how so, it is amazing.

WHAT ABOUT DUTY EXEMPTIONS TO CEPS AND GRA OFFICIALS, INCLUDING THOSE WHO SLIP THROUGH THE NET BY CONNIVING WITH CEPS, GRA AND PORT AUTHORITIES.
THERE IS A LOT OF RIP-OFF OF ORDINARY GHANAIANS WHO DO NOT BELONG TO THE CLIQUE, AND THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR DONKEY YEARS, BUT NO ONE CARES AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT PAY DUTY ON THEIR IMPORTS.
THE PRESIDENT DOESN'T CARE!
THE VICE-PRESIDENT DOESN'T CARE!
THE SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT DOESN'T CARE!
THE CHIEF JUSTICE DOESN'T CARE!
THE 275 MPs DO NOT CARE AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT PAY DUTY ON THEIR IMPORTS!
GHANAIAN "LEADERS" OR AUTHORITIES ARE THE MAIN CAUSE OF THE MANY ECONOMIC CHALLENGES AFFLICTING OUR NATION, BUT WHO CARES?
THIS MASSIVE RIP-OFF AT TEMA AND OTHER PORTS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR DONKEY YEARS, BUT AGAIN, GHANAIAN AUTHORITIES DO NOT CARE AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT AFFECT THEM AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS.
THE ORDINARY GHANAIAN IS THE ONE WHO ALWAYS PAYS THOSE EXPLOITATIVE IMPORT DUTIES.

We MUST learn how to generate our own foreign exchange while taming our affinity to import everything under the sun.
I thought the government would find it prudent to pass on a significant amount of the savings from the low crude oil price to consumers to reduce inflation which has been increasing in consonance with the withdrawal of subsidies on refined petroleum products.
They can also bring down inflation, which is the cause of the high interest rates,by helping our manufacturing industries reduce the cost of production of goods in particular.Which will in turn bring down interest rates.
We are a little fortunate because the US is feeling the effect of a strong dollar.US exports are expensive currently. Therefore, the FED will not increase the bank rate and send the Cedi tumbling further. So our focus should be on our imports and exports.
