  These people are filthy lazy asses who envy the working class and are determined to make our lives miserable if they don't get free food, water and other amenities at their disposal. These scumbags make loads of money but please track how many really willingly pay taxes. I say shoot to kill these beasts. Don't make babies if you are dirt poor. It should also be a crime to perform any work or duty ladder with a baby on your back. By the age of 7, most Ghanaian babies have half their brains fried by the sun, and their internal organs are symbiotic with every germ on earth. Talk about zombies, over half the nation are walking-talking germs or diseased

Accra is a big city and I think it will be easier when they spread out to avoid this hectic crowd....

  Is it not time Ghana should look at providing a permanent place for all these people out there selling on the streets? This when done I believe would bring orderliness, sanity and improve our standards of living. We should do away with the political ill-mind sets that eat us up whenever policies are to be implemented on projects which will in turn benefit us all, just like would be needed for this one, and to bring to book those found culpable de-edging the shape of the laws. But prior to this, Gov't needs to oversee to it that all traders have the right to stay and sell in the organized space provided. After all such traders are not tax exempt. Their monies could be used in this respect to create the convenience we all crave for

  This is very serious, my niece just a week ago was a victim of this hawkers taking over pavements. She alighted from a car and was going to school. She was knocked unconscious by a hit-and-run motor bike rider. All because the pavements were taken over by hawkers and she was avoiding the displayed ware got hit. Thanks to the Lord and a good samaritan taxi driver who rushed her to the hospital. It was later in the afternoon that she regained consciousness before giving the father's phone number. It was only God who saved this poor girl. The right things ought to be done, because if the pedestrian walkways were there, such things wouldn't have happened. For political reasons, both NDC and NPP have failed law abiding Ghanaians regarding this hawking on pavements. It;s crazy.

  In this 21st Century , I can't believe that AMA can not do anything about this indiscipline behaviours of these hawkers who have occupied the pavement of the capitals for decades. It so shameful when tourist see things like this because it shows how backward our country in terms of discipline. It's time AMA and the government do something about this.Better Ghana for better people.

  I haven't been to that area in ages and have avoided going there as if it were Ebola infested in many years even though I am just 3 to 5 minutes walk away in Tudu. It is my deliberate active policy which others should emulate, just like my active policy of totally banning polythenes in my home, totally refusing to patronize street hawkers and kayayoos - I carry my own things regardless how heavy. The typical Ghanaian indiscipline and continued patronization of the causers of indiscipline results in such hawking in the pavements etc. Shame on all Ghanaians, you are your own enemy! We reap what we sow!
