Couldn't have said it any better. Execution has been the main reason we cannot progress. We have some of the best ideas but luck confident to execute them. Sooner we can get over that phobia, the better our continent flourish

When you make a sweeping statement such as, “We have very brilliant people in Ghana and Africa with great ideas", I assume you are including our politicians some of whom are highly educated and supposedly knowledgeable.

When you make a sweeping statement such as, “We have very brilliant people in Ghana and Africa with great ideas", I assume you are including our politicians some of whom are highly educated and supposedly knowledgeable.

Ins't it oxymoronic to say on one hand that we have brilliant people in Ghana and Africa with great ideas, on the other hand we have bad leadership. Are people who are in leadership positions not part of the brilliant people? Or this gentleman is separating the leadership from the brilliant people in Ghana and Africa. If that is the case, then it begs the question, why are not putting this brilliant people in leadership positions so that the country and continent will benefit from their brilliance?

Taken to its logical conclusion, the statement portrays the ineptitude of the people of Ghana and Africa. If we have brilliant people in Ghana and Africa then people we choose as leaders should have those qualities, but that has never been the case. We kid ourselves every time we open our mouth.

Sir, with due respect, could you come to U.S.A. and meet people who would like to implement their ideas with the help from your bank? All that you said is on banking system. Banking is the solution to Africa woes. Why do I say this. If you are travelling outside US the law requires you declare any amount above %10,000.00. Money jn ciculation is controled...hence credit card system. Corruption is so high that people could buy expensive with cash in Ghana. Only God knows where they got the cash. You analysis is good, but in reality is abnornal in Ghana. I have been here since 1993. It is not normal to see residents buying cars with cash. How come residents buy expensive cars with cash if the projection is 3,000.00 dollars per annum. Some individuals in Ghana have more money than the govt. of GHANA.Only a decipline govt. with enough money can implement what you are talking about. If Bank of Ghana has no efficient clearing house for banking institutions, to the point of borrowing from outside Ghana to pay govt workers, then yhe country is in a very critical situation. I have an account with your bank...hence the need for you to encourage savings amoung residents in and outside Ghana to assisting them to implement their ideas. People in govt, are just looting not for the betterment of the populace
