KNUST students do not have to go to that extent to raise funds to build dams when the government can give the equivalent of $30 million to Woyome for no work done. What about the NDC using part of the $20 million it stole fro ...

KNUST students do not have to go to that extent to raise funds to build dams when the government can give the equivalent of $30 million to Woyome for no work done. What about the NDC using part of the $20 million it stole from the state to undertake such a project? It is not that Ghanaians are unpatriotic but we leave things undone because the official thievery going on in the country. And by the way, being an engineering lecturer doesn't mean you have to use your money to build dams over the country!

We can still do the right thing even if others are cheating. That's what they are made of and believe in. Lets us strive to help vulnerable people if we can, and MAYBE take on the politicians on a different platform.

$1,000 to build a simple irrigation dam, with communal labour, I presume. We could have 10,000 such dams up & down the country. Sadly, our leaders lack common sense

They cannot do anything significant in Ghana. What Ghana needs are engineers that can design a modern day electricity grid that can deliver sufficient power. Ghana does not need another dam.
