This 90-year old conflict, which is far older than our President, has been the same all these years. It wasn't Mahama's time that the Nkonya's procured AK-47s to escalate the conflict.
By the way, why should the VRSC keep recommending the renewal of the curfew when no steps are being taken to resolve the situation? Are these people going to remain under curfew indefinitely? They should consider the adverse economic effects of the curfew and find a solution in the shortest possible time.

You are exposing yourself as a trokosi masquerading under Akan name. Why are you blaming the people of Nkonya and leave the people of Alavanyo and their trokosi supporters?

We miss the point when we comment on the Alavanyo/Nkonya conflict. There have been four judgments on the land issue. One side is unwilling to accept these judgments and unable or rather afraid to go to court again. Successive governments have not had the political will to enforce these rulings. Curfews are just temporary. The real issue is how to settle the matter in a just manner

According to the Paramount Chief of Alavanyo Traditional Area, Alavanyo and Nkonya never went to court over the land dispute. He also mentioned that there is no record anywhere in Ghana to prove that the two traditional areas ever went to court. He also challenged anyone who has that record to provide it.
Anokye, the ball is now in your court. If you have any record to prove that Alavanyo and Nkonya went to court and there were judgments, please let's see them.
