The Methodist Church at it again. This time prioritizing a commercial project. I think enough is enough. I know the K.O. project is a huge project with commercial intentions. Why are we not opting for Bank Loan to finance it? Rather than print envelopes in different colours corresponding to the dominant colour(s) of the existing Gh. Cedis notes and COMPELLING/FORCING member to pledge to contribute so much over a given number of years. As a church we are overburdening the congregation. The recent outburst over the IMPOSITION of the Methodist University debt on the societies of the church is a wake up call. As a church have we finished the core dutiy entrusted to us by the Lord - Winning Lost Souls. Do we to build Hotels, Office Complex, Schools, described by The Methodist Bishop of Kumasi as not "tatashulala" yet you want to use "tatashulala" to get money to build the same school at K.O.?

The African leadership crises follows the colonial pattern bequeted to Africans by the Europeans. There was no formal structure for power succession. The power vacuum left had an element for free for all and the idea of winner takes it all.Africans themselves manipulated this loophole to their advantage. The Europeans set Africans up for failure through manipulation of the prices of their resources and by the way heap unbelievable interest rates on their heads when they come for loans.African leaders failed to capture the intent of their colonial masters, hence they keep on making the same mistakes without learning Solution will come from the new African renaissance made up of new crop of acadamicians, exposed business people and an enlightened un corruptible clergy to take matters into their own hands to change the destiny of Africa.
