Random Eye Movement,
You make some important observations!
Surely, hindsight is 20/20!
But fairness in public discourse should be automatic, before we get to "hind".
Adikanfo/Pacesetters thread where others have never threaded! Most of them never have to wrestle with formidable external enemies with more resources enough to buy the services of your own people who will then secretly plot to harm the new State. Enough to control the entire world!
And if today, we had the resources to educate the people and conduct a survey of all the people and positioned 2 paths:
- the Lee Kuan Yew Singapore model (equality for the average man)
- the current 2-party "virtual" revolving door (equality for the party man).
Then let's ask the people to look forward and tell us which one they will select/choose, freely.
ITEM: We have a whole series of articles from a so-called lawyer about a "Kludze", and the most important caveats were purposely left out - a sorry attempt to make fools of readers, we suppose!
Funny - When we discovered the NYT about a "Kludze", his affiliation with Rutgers University and his nearly 30 years over there as a Professor, we did not read anything (or find) any mention of association with any American struggles (of African Americans, Women, American Indians, the Poor, Migrants, Universal Suffrage, Reform of any policy in New Jersey, and their Chicken Coop Urban policies, etc.).
Plainly, Nkrumah was too benevolent to his detractors! And when Nkrumah achieved the most important goals for Ghana in his own lifetime, (Independence and Unitary Nation for Ghana), why must we descend into the gutter to "argue argue that the man was a complete failure"?
Why?
Why must we waste out time?
For us, we prefer to spend the little time we have to providing information about Nkrumah to all who will read/listen, much of that information that were destroyed and continue to be hidden today, by Danquah-Busia-Dombo-UP-NLC-NLM-PP Confederates and their apologists.
Thanks.

At Legon, I studied Theater Arts and Drama and majored in playwriting. I was the best student playwright in my year group.
Thereafter, I went to Cape Vars where I majored in English. I was the second best student in my year group (out of a total of over 200 students) despite the fact that I was the Casely Hayford Hall President for three whole years. I was thus appointed Teaching Assistant and studied for my Masters in English at UCC.
I founded the SDA High School in Asokore Koforidua in the year 2002, and was its first Headmaster.
After all my studies in Ghana, I came to the USA and entered Law School where I was the record best student in Property Law for all time. After my Juris Doctor Degree, I sat and passed the Texas Bar the first time. I then set up my own thriving law firm.
Today, a whole dormitory is named after me at the government assisted SDA High School.

Yes your life is all that matters to you the anti-Nkrumaists. Do you know how many thousands had education because of Nkrumah's free education policy? Do you know how many lives were saved because of his free medical care policy. Clearly you and your cohorts are driven by selfishness While the Osagyefo was selfless. That was and is why you can never agree with him. Evil and virtue: Darkness and Light are irreconcilable, they are opposites.
READ: "...Kwame Nkrumah himself...outlined very clearly his vision of the Independent Ghana. It was not to be a Ghana with a free market economy... In his autobiography..which was published in 1957 on the eve of Ghana’s Independence...Nkrumah spelt out in plain language what was in store for Ghana...: Wrote Kwame Nkrumah: “Capitalism is too complicated a system for a newly independent nation. Hence the need for a socialist society. But even a system based on social justice and a democratic constitution may need backing up, during the period following independence, by emergency measures of a totalitarian kind. Without discipline true freedom cannot survive.”
WE SAY: NPP Justice "Prof Kludze" was being disingenuous, if we can be charitable.
Simply, a "Free Market Economy", is a matter of degree, using the example even of the US.
How else do you produce public goods and services. And who will benefit most if you produce, or don't produce?
About events in 1957...
As we've said on the other side in "Nkrumah Was Not Prepared To Govern For Dummies!", a country like Ghana "is not the property of one leader. It always took a team willing to work together, a Team willing to support "the leader"...Dr. Danquah certainly failed...playing second fiddle to Nkrumah in the fight for independence for the Gold Coast. Even worse, merely 9 months after Ghana's independence, on 4 December 1957, Busia, another UP-NLM-Dombo-PP traitor, was sending secret telegrams from the US Embassy in Accra to Washington DC asking for $25,000, "(not 10)", for his NLM party, and complaining to the minority Republicans in the US Congress that Nkrumah and the CPP were exploring relations with other countries, including the USSR. (Busia asked that the funds whould be concealed so it will look like the UP-NLM-Dombo-PP confederates raised those funds through their own local/Ghana party effort.
Let's go figure, People!

No nation and its people deserve a dictator, not even the benevolent cassock wearing type. The totalitarian model that Nkrumah copied from prototypes out there and imposed on Ghanaians had no limits to the authority of the state. The plan was already rolled out to regulate every aspect of the people's lives, private and public, in every conceivable way. What he ignored is that every man is born free with the right to choose for himself and to be responsible for the choices he makes. Totalitarianism then becomes the personification of evil because whatever is true and right must not be imposed.
It's accepted through common consent. It becomes the duty of rational society to resist and fight the evil that's arbitrarily imposed through all forms of repression and suppression. Where totalitarianism is imposed for a period of time, deep wounds resulting from unnecessary loss of human lives, the emotional and psychological pain and the spiritual wreckage that are inflicted take a long time to heal if they ever heal at all. Certainly the negatives of totalitarianism far outweigh the positives so why should any nation take such a route? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
It's true that the system of state sponsored repression and suppression has proven very successful for Singapore but it's a stretch too far of the iimagination to suggest that the same measure of success can be replicated every where. It's like medication that works for one patient but can't achieve the same healing effects in another patient with the same ailment. We are different and unique and what works for Asians may not necessarily work for West African Ghanaians. The thing is no matter how good you think anything is you must first seek the people's consent before it's introduced. Nkrumah made grievous and tragic choices that have poisoned the soul and future of an entire nation that we're all eyewitnesses to this day. Never again, Kwame Nkrumah! Never again, Professor Lungu!

Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo you are an illiterate person claiming that your are learned. The U.S. and her people were of the view that they can terrorize other people and because those nations are not armed like them has no response, but only to swallow their tears in their head. The state of U.S. was founded on terror and live on terror and that is the country in which you reside and continue to write trash. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah use constitutional means to rule Ghana. All laws and acts during his time in office were passed by parliament. He did not murder his political opponents in their sleep as the U.S. does. Freedom of association that is denied people in the U.S. is approved was approved in Ghana in accordance with that there was opposition political party in Ghana up to 1964 when the legislature voted for one party state. Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP did not go to parliament with guns pointed to the heads of legislators to vote for one party state as was the case in Ukraine parliament a year ago. An act that is supported financed and armed by U.S. and her NATO members.
There is an act named Prevention of Terrorism act in the U.K. and as well the Patriot Act under which a suspect is held in detention for years. The people who were arrested in Afghanistan in 2001 are still in protective and preventive detention in various NATO countries, of which the United States of America is not an exception. Kindly understand that Ghana is not an extension of another country. Ghanaian laws which are written are not also passed by legislators elsewhere but by her own legislators who voted, not under duress as is the case in the countries that are dolls of your doll masters and puppet masters in Washington.

Nkrumah was a hypocrite. Whilst publicly railing like a lunatic against the so called imperialists, behind the scenes, he was begging the imperialists to finance his budgets.

On his iron-fisted governing style:
"Anybody who decides to take me on needs to put on knuckle-dusters. If you think you can hurt me more than I can hurt you, try. There is no way you can govern a Chinese society."
On his political opponents:
"If you are a troublemaker... it's our job to politically destroy you... Everybody knows that in my bag I have a hatchet, and a very sharp one. You take me on, I take my hatchet, we meet in the cul-de-sac."
On justice:
"We have to lock up people, without trial, whether they are communists, whether they are language chauvinists, whether they are religious extremists. If you don't do that, the country would be in ruins."
“I am often accused of interfering in the private lives of citizens. Yes, if I did not, had I not done that, we wouldn’t be here today. And I say without the slightest remorse, that we wouldn’t be here, we would not have made economic progress, if we had not intervened on very personal matters – who your neighbour is, how you live, the noise you make, how you spit, or what language you use. We decide what is right. Never mind what the people think.”
“Freedom of the press, freedom of the news media, must be subordinated to the overriding needs of the integrity of Singapore, and to the primacy of purpose of an elected government”,
“Repression, Sir is a habit that grows. I am told it is like making love-it is always easier the second time! The first time there may be pangs of conscience, a sense of guilt. But once embarked on this course with constant repetition you get more and more brazen in the attack. All you have to do is to dissolve organizations and societies and banish and detain the key political workers in these societies. Then miraculously everything is tranquil on the surface. Then an intimidated press and the government-controlled radio together can regularly sing your praises, and slowly and steadily the people are made to forget the evil things that have already been done, or if these things are referred to again they’re conveniently distorted and distorted with impunity, because there will be no opposition to contradict.”.
“I have never been over concerned or obsessed with opinion polls or popularity polls. I think a leader who is, is a weak leader. Between being loved and being feared, I have always believed Machiavelli was right. If nobody is afraid of me, I’m meaningless.
What are our priorities? First, the welfare, the survival of the people. Then, democratic norms and processes which from time to time we have to suspend.
I make no apologies that the PAP is the Government and the Government is the PAP.

I agree that this type of totalitarian oppression articulated by Yew was exactly Nkrumah's mindset, which he had a right to keep. Therefore was he an arrant dictator. This much we so far agree.
But the mindset of Ghanaians, in response to Nkrumah's mindset, was to overthrow his dictatorship with all ignominy. Now, it is not too late for the NDC or the CPP to try out Machiavelli on Ghanaians. Same ignominious results will of course follow. It was wrong then and wrong now. And with the result of totalitarianism so predictable, let no one blame the CIA.....
Now all of a sudden, the death of Lee Kuan Yew has provided the Nkrumaists with an impressionistic hero by which to measure Nkrumah's misbehavior. To the Nkrumaists, this is their version of scientific thinking, that they will narrowly strike a similarity in Yew and Nkrumah’ s dictatorships, gleaning the former's success and imputing it as a certain possibility under some futuristic, albeit phantasmagorical Nkrumah leadership. They take no account of the fact that by 1966, the economy of Ghana had already hit reverse gear, and that Nkrumah and Yew were already headed in opposite direction: Nkrumah leaning toward communism while Yew remained a capitalist; Nkrumah hitting a slippery slope while Yew vaults economic heights. But this concocted analogy between Nkrumah and Yew is what scientific reasoning looks like to the Nkrumaists.
If any Nkrumaist concoct any policy on dictatorship for any perceived economic prosperity for the country, they may enter their own dungeon and entertain their own humiliation, as it is their right to torment their souls for their perceived economic paradise. But they should leave Ghanaians out of their oppression or else face the music of their extinction.

The UP/NPP revisionsts are back in full force! For them their angels - Baffuor Osei-Akoto,RR Amponsah Joe Appiah,Danquah,Busia,Obtsebi - Lamptey,Mallam Tula,Harlley, Ankrah, Deku,Kotoka,Gbedemah,Kludze and others( traitors, bomb throwers, primitive tribalists, neocolonial agents, subversives and saboteurs)- all were angels.
Danquah was not a democrat,as these latter-day revisionists would have us to believe. He was defeated twice in his Keta constituency,by his nephew and ex-wife in elections supervised by the Colonial government - in the Gold Coast, before independence. And then Nkrumah defeated him soundly in the 1960 Presidential election.
After he was rejected at the polls by his own Akyem people - together with other anti-democratic elements,he then resorted to conspiracies to violently overthrow the democratically elected CPP government.Had he been in many countries in the world,he would have faced the FIRING SQUAD. Good riddance!
What Kluze did not say was the anti-state activities he and his buddies were involved in at Legon. Was NUGS itself hijacked by violent opposition groups? These folks - including the bogus "Dokita",never the TELL THE WHOLE STORY AND THE ONLY TRUTH. They tell half - truths to deceive the Ghanaian public public, especially the youth. But most of us know that their rear-ends are not covered.
Now let us cut the chase and get to the nitty gritty - the PDA which serves as the lightning rod for these Mate Meho-NLM/UP/PP/PFP/NPP MFS,in their attempts to conceal their own nefarious, evil and dastardly activities from 1954 - 1966. As any intelligent person knows, the first priority for any government is to maintain national security, peace and tranquility. From Uncle Sam's country (US) to Fiji, this priority forces governments to pass laws to protect and defend the states from within and without. And Ghana is NOT AN EXCEPTION.
In the US,the attacks of 9/11 brought about the passage of one of the most draconian laws ever passed by a liberal democratic government - the PATRIOT ACT.This law makes the PDA passed by the CPP government look like a child's play.Aside from detaining both foreigners and citizens for a long period of time, the law was also used to kill American citizens abroad. Thus, few years ago,Uncle Sam sent his drones to kill Anwar al-Awlaki and his sixteen year old son - both American citizens, born in the Good Old USA.They were not offered DUE PROCESS(Is the Slip and Fall lawyer in Austin,Tx,listening ?),but Uncle Sam killed them outside US,in Yemen, because the father was linked to Al Qaeda in the Peninsula, which bombed an American warship over a decade ago.
Also in Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp,Cuba, several foreigners there have been detained for over ten years without trial. And don't forget the internment of 120,000 American citizens of Japanese descent,in California during World War 11.They were not charged with any crime, but languished in jail-like conditions in the hot desert for years.
Britain also passed laws straight out of George Orwell's "1984" to combat IRA terrorism. More laws were passed after 9/11 such that, people suspected of having links to terrorist groups or perpetrated terrorist activities, can be detained without trial for some time - as they are deemed a threat to British national security.
Britain and U.S are two advanced liberal democracies, yet they don't play when comes to threats to each's national security.Infact,Timothy Mcveign was executed for the Oklahoma bombing, yet Nkrumah never executed the conspirators and bomb throwers like Obetsebi-Lamptey and Mallam Tula.So what the xxxx "Dokita" Safo, Kludze,Sarpong,Ahoofe and Kobina Kennedy talking about ? Why not also write about the the horrendous crimes committed(from 1954- 1966) against innocent Ghanaians, and the assassination attempts on the life of Osagyefo Dr.Kwame Nkrumah? There is a very old lady living in Accra now, who as a young woman got her legs blown away by a bomb planted by agents of UP.The bomb was built at a house near Accra by Obetsebi-Lamptey Sr.(the father of the former Chairman of the NPP).Up till now the primitive NPP honchos have not gone to render an apology to her and her family. So again, what the xxxx are Sarfo and cohort talking about ?
In post-independence India, Opposition terrorists who lost elections bombed, kiled and attempted FOUR times - to ASSASSINATE the then Prime Minister,Jawarlal Nehru.Like wise in Malaysia, the Opposition attempted to ASSASSINATE the then Prime Minister,Tunku Abdul Rahman and and then plunged the country into a brutal civil war.The government and the country were saved by BRITISH paratroopers and Special Forces. At the end, more than three thousand Malaysians - mostly innocent men, children and women died.
And in neighboring Singapore,Lee Kuan Yew,escaped assassination attempts and bombings as he sought to transform his city state into a well developed and an advanved country. In all these countries, the three visionary leaders were labeled by the Opposition as "Dictators" - for crushing the terrorists by any MEANS NECESSARRY,including PREVENTIVE DETENTION laws passed in ALL THREE COUNTRIES above.Without these laws - immediately after independece, none, and I repeat, none of these three developed nations would be where they are today.Just look at poor Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo - after primitive Africans got rid of the two leading Africans(Nkrumah and Lumumba)who were all democratically elected.
Sarfo and Sarpong live in TEXAS,US.,a state notorioiusly known as the EXECUTION CAPITAL of America. If they support the BOMBINGS AND ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS perpetuated by their primitive and violent "ancestors" of the NLM/UP,yours truly says if they are "man enough",let them try those barbaric actions in TEXAS.
In conclusion, the first priority of every government on this planet is to maintain security, peace and tranquility in the country - above all else(President Jonathan of Nigeria was partly kicked out because of his failure to protect some Nigerians from Boko Haram, the terrorist group). When Abraham Lincoln embarked on stemming the violence and succession in the American South, his opponents said he broke American laws and he was becoming a "dictator". But he had to do what he had to do (as the Yankees say)to protect and unify the country. And today, the Tea Party and Fox News in America are calling President Obama a "dictator".
So a dictator is in the eye of the beholder - especially when they cannot win elections.Kludze and NUGS leaders were secretly used by UP terrorists to sabotage the CPP efforts to develop Ghana. They paid no fees at Legon and ate three times a day, plus late afternoon tea and cake. They also received allowances(as told by some old folks)- all at the expense of the government. Then,Kludze turned around to engage in subversive activities against the government. He deserved whatever he got at Nsawam.

security of the United States or are inadmissible or deportable on grounds of
terrorism, espionage, sabotage, or sedition. Within seven days, the Attorney General
must initiate removal or criminal proceedings or release the alien. If the alien is held,
the determination must be reexamined every six months to confirm that the alien's
release would threaten national security or endanger some individual or the general
public. The Attorney General's determinations are subject to review only under writs
of habeas corpus issued out of any federal district court but appealable only to the
United States Court of Appeals for the District Columbia. The Attorney General
must report to the Judiciary Committee on the details of the operation of section 412.
Uncertain is the relationship between section 412 and the President's Military
Order of November 13, 2001, which allows the Secretary of Defense to detain
designated ALIEN TERRORIST SUSPECTS, within the United States or elsewhere, without
express limitation or condition except with regard to food, water, shelter, clothing,
medical treatment, religious exercise, and a proscription on invidious discrimination,
