Some people, especially NPP members and those sympathetic to the NPP, have taken this issue on as if it is the most pressing constitutional issue of the day. If those who are interpreting the constitution like the way Nana is doing are really serious about it, why don't they seek interpretation from the Supreme Court?

I bet they will lose !!!! I can bet also that all these agitations will cease immediately the NPP wins political power and they control the presidency. These attempts to weaken the presidency is setting a very dangerous precedent. If the language in the constitution is not acceptable and thus the method is not what the NPP and its supporters want, nothing stops same from proposing an amendment to the constitution. President Mahama is going to appoint the next EC chairman following the path that all past presidents have used to date. He is the President, elections have consequences. It would be an abdication of duty if he cedes that decision to someone else.

How does Nana propose the people of Ghana take part in this decision - through a general election? A referendum? What a suggestion. The people of Ghana spoke in December 2012, and Nana told us he accepted the decision of the SC that affirmed the election of President Mahama, so what is the problem?

Nana. when your time comes and you are
elected President by the people of Ghana, I will have your back in ruling the nation as the constitution says, nothing more nothing less.

I repeat ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.
