  This not just a foolish idea that would not work but will also offend and deter genuine investors,ie, if there's such a thing.

Irrespective of whether you are Ghanaian or not. Go for a mining license before you engage in minning so the govt can levy taxes on you!

  There again because of greed Ghanaians including chiefs are aiding and abetting with these crooks.
  We therefore should not blame them. It appears that Ghanaians are quite timid. They don't want to do the right thing eg. jailing people when that is the only recourse.

  There are reports that doctors in hospitals are actively engaged in party politics. The situation has led to an unhealthy working relationship amongst health personnel. Traditional authorities must check this.

They intimidate and harrass our youth in our country.i saw a documentary a few days ago..where a Chinese pistol whipped a Ghanaian youth.the guy reported to the police..but a few minutes after the Chinese was brought to the village police station...he was left off the hook.apparently the chinese paid his way out..meanwhile the Ghana guy with his swollen eyes was left to go take care of his business without any compensation from this "chinese motherfucker" Ghana has sold it rights dogs

  If the laws of the land were being upheld by the people in authority this will not be happening. How can we just sit and allow the Chinese to overrun our fields and destroy the livelihood of Ghanaians with the help of Ghanaians.
  
  This is plain negligence on the part of our leaders.
  
  Let the PPP take over governance so we can show that the situation can be turned around and put smiles on the faces of suffering Ghanaians. Awake for Ghana

  Wake up dear minister. Do you believe that the Chinese did not know the regulations or laws regarding mining in this country FOR YOU TO WASTE TAX PAYERS MONEY TO POST NOTICES AT THE AIRPOT? Do these foreigner go straight from the airpotrs to the bush to start mining? Are they not let by Ghanaians? Don't you also think that those bastards(the village chiefs) who are conniving with these Chinese to destroy our lands and forest know the laws regulating mining operation in Ghana?
  These Chinese are stealing our minerals with impunity and disrespect. They should be banned from mining and prosecuted. The chiefs should be equally prosecuted and destooled for aiding and abetting. Start arresting the culprits, the chiefs and this nonsense will slow down.
