I beg to differ because VALCO was shut down in 2007 because of power shortage. Is that a solution? No. Today we are paying for bad decisions which were taken by previous regimes.

Ghanaians should never forget the effects of it even if it's fixed months later. Whoever is putting us through now must be punished. It shouldn't have taken this long to solve this problem.

If it is that easy why is he not venturing into that area. The power sector has been liberalized like the telecom sector. If he says he is a business man why is he not in that sector? 1. it takes a lot of money to put up a generating plant. 2. The rates are such that it takes a long time to recoup money. He as a minister did not plan for the future hence the current situation.

Rather you fire such a gov't massively at the ballot box and bring in those with the demonstrated ability and the vision to get the job done.
That is why Change is gonna come in 2016. Ghanaians are saying enough is enough.
You don't extend electricity wires and cables for the fun, and for decoration. Electric power should flow through it 24/7 that is what it is for.
You don't build plants for the fun of it, but to supply electricity.
You don't owe over Ghc1billion cedis to the VRA and expect them to generate power and owe ECG over Ghc700million cedis and expect them to transmit electricity.
You don't owe Ngas over $120million dollars and expect gas to flow through the WAPCo lines, not when in your own statement you realize the importance of electric power to the socio-economic development of the country and recognize Ghana's comparative advantage and scream chooboi, chooboi, in your second term, the dumsor, dumsor is going to be a thing of the past, however the contrary is happening.
Dumsor, and now duuummmmmmm is a every present feature.
That is failed leadership and Ghanaians would change such failed leadership at the ballot box in 2016. Enough is enough.

Oh Paa,anything affecting the citizen is part of politics. So why do you think people voted for the NDC for?People voted for them, because they thought the NPP wasn't doing enough to solve their problems. And the biggest problem inGhana today is Dumsor, like you said, people are losing their jobs, people are dying, fire is breaking out everywhere, all because of Dumsor,so if you think Dumsor is not politics,I don't know what you think is politics. What should be the duty of any Government Paa,or you think the citizen should shut up for these politicians to continue stealing, whiles we keep on sleeping in the darkness?

YES,HONORABLE UNCLE KWESI,AT LEAST WHEN YOU WERE THEN MINISTER OF ENERGY UNDER NPP ADMINISTRATION,YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD A FORESIGHT THAT GHANAIANS WILL ONE DAY INCREASE THEIR CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY BECAUSE OF TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT.MANY PEOPLE, LIKE NEVER BEFORE ARE USING CELLPHONES,REFRIDGERATORS,ETC,PUTTING MORE LOAD ON THE ELECTRICAL GRILL.THIS IS THE FAULT OF BOTH PAST AND PRESENT GOVERNMENTS WHO DID NOT ENVISION THIS PROBLEM AHEAD OF TIME.UNDER THE PNDC,WHEN WE BEGAN TO EXPERIENCED WATER SHORTAGE AT AKOSOMBO DAM,THAT WAS WHEN OUR LEADERS VISIONS SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICK INTO GEAR.BUT NO,SOME OFFICIALS WERE BUSY DRAINING THE COFFERS OF THE NATION,AND SELLING THE FACTORIES THAT DR.NKRUMAH BUILT.
