    Did he state his investments and businesses? Anybody can state what he has in the bank and houses ect. But the question is who is going to check. Come next year the will have billions in the bank lol no one will check.

    What is the point of declaring assets when at the end of one's mandate no assets are declared. Mindless symbolism is not the way to go. We should have strong institutions that are able to bring corrupt officials to book.

    There are some folks who put properties under their mom's name to avoid public scrutiny. I don't see the mothers appropriating such properties. Ghanaians are cleverer than you think.

    Declaration of assets shd not b ltd to politicians. I think there is a lot of rot in our public tertiary institutions and it must even b mandatory for VCs/Rectors and others to declare their assets.

    Assets declaration law is not new in Ghana. Read the 1992 constitution and the GII Bill as elaborated by Dr.
    Azeem. This bill has been swept under the carpet. Lawlessness is the order of the day in Ghana.
