Do you know what their personal circumstances were to have caused them to steal? I don't condone such action but to kill someone over the theft of a laptop or mobile phone is totally unacceptable. Lawlessness like this can lead to innocent lives being lost. The police should arrest and charge the culprits for beat and set these guys alight. That could be you or I. Imagine being at the wrong place and wrong time when someone decides to holla "julor oooh julor" and the mob mistakenly think it's you? Before you can plead your innocence, a mighty blow to your head would have rendered you unconscious and your charred body on display for people to see. Let's stop this nonsense NOW!

If you have been a victim of these armed robbers before, you may understand the actions of the guys who kill and burn them.
As much as i do not believe in instant justice, you are left with no option since they will kill you if you try to defend yourself, family and properties when they invade your house.
This may serve as a warning to others that when they are caught, they will face the same fate. A person ceased to be a human being as soon as they becomes an armed robber.

Which presupposes that the average Ghanaian may look and appear like human, but in actual fact they are animals. Burning a thieve alive belongs to the animal kingdom, and Ghana in this day and age has all the symptoms of an animal kingdom.

We pee and shit in open places in the view of the public - that is what animals do; Our streets and gutters are filled with filth - that is how animals live; our public officials and politicians covet what belongs to the nation - this is what happens in Serengati Park where animals devour other animals for survival while the lucky ones look on unconcerned.

Education did not do much for the Ghanaian. We waste our resources by keeping these beasts in the classroom - they come out still being beasts!

This act of mob justice is wrong legally but popular in areas where armed robbery is a problem. Whether this act is wrong or not, it serves as a deterrent to armed robbers. There is this saying that those who take lives must be prepared to have theirs taken. Armed robbers kill innocent hardworking Ghanaians so as much as it is legally wrong to for the mob to do what they did, I can understand where they are coming from. One of the major factors that is preventing many people living abroad returning to settle in Ghana is this armed robbery menace. If mob justice will stop it, then so be it but the issue of possible mistaken identity of those accosted has to be handled diligently. Only those armed robbers caught in the act should be dealt with this way. Where there is even the slightest doubt as to whether they are guilty or not, they better be handed to the police.
