And let atsu play in the pocket. I have been saying this since afcon bjt these so called technical gurus think they know best. They are devoid of common sense. Astu is a far better dribbled and ball controller than jordan. Common sense tells you to play dribblers and ball jugglers as 8/10. So theybcan get fouls in and around the 18. Atsu can take on 2/3 defenders and release balls to dede or yiadom or gyan or assifuah to score. So why is he on the wings? FOOLS....jordan by contrast is not an effective dribblers but can run with the ball and get into the 18 and make things happen. Logic tells you to play him as a right winger. Put schlupp on the left wing and younwill see video game players inaction. These technical people are bankrupt. Textbook coaches wei can't use simple logic.....muahahahahaaaaaaa

Oh, Ghanaian grammarians and logicians!
Why don't you just tell the truth, which you had told us when the friendly was first announced, which was that Grant decided to rest him so he (Gyan) could recover fully from his Afcon 2015 injury, and also to enable him (Grant) to try different and/or new players since this was just a friendly?
Even Essien, in his Chelsea-Mourinho days, "recovered" to play for Chelsea AFTER ditching Ghana. He never "recovered" to play BEFORE.
What stupid logic, dailysoccerGhana.com !

Ghanaians wanted to give AA a tough time but this is the reality: The goal from Gyan against Algeria at AFCON 2015 saved the coach and the Black Stars from ruin. We need a coach who can identify you the second confident striker is. It looks like Boakye-Yiadom. I think we all could see that had we had Boakye-Yiadom partnered up with Assifuah a bit earlier in this game, we would have seen a different result.
Ghanaians are treating Grant with "soft gloves". If he wants to be different, he must make some radical moves so we can believe that a new era is coming. He is playing it safe. He is really just using what AA was doing and looking for Gyan to be a savior every game. Gyan is getting old.

Coach Avram Grant has made a point here. If Ghana fared well without Asamoah Gyan, then it's time to begin finding a potent substitute; Gyan will soon retire from football--he's now 28yrs old.
Coach A. Grant should took for a skillful player who could make a difference in our attack. We can't continue to experiment with players who don't know when to give a clever pass when we're in attack; a player who can read the game and link up well his team of attackers. Some of our players have a very long way to go, judging by how many times they've had to squander begging goal-scoring chances either by not knowing when, where and who to lay on a perfect pass. To such players, they believe it's their right to give away good chances and don't seem to give a damn. Such attitude is what's helping us lose in many games.
Our defence and mid-field should all bear the blame! Talk about a defender who'd look on helplessly when a pass is laid across, right within his reach, but does nothing to slide or stretch himself to volley the ball away or clear his territories. The second goal that was scored by Senegal went through the territory of three defenders before it found it's targetman who cleverly placed the ball were it should be.
Our mid-field also is porous; they cannot initiate any goal-scoring moves or connect our passes; they always fail to feed clever balls mid-stream and up-stream. In term of modern football, Ghana lacks in may aspects of the scientific game. This is a fact that we have to accept. Our players are used to playing stocmach football and that's pathetic! Without the art of possessive football, we'll be toiling for nothing.
The least said about our goal-keeping the better it would be. So I refrain from causing Ghanaians any sort of pain by keeping my mouth shut! Coach Grant knows better than me, so I better leave the rest for him to decide.
