Ghana Government must also invest in India and China to make this equal. Add social responsibility into the equation.

We could could be, for example, cutting corners through construction of less durable factory buildings that would collapse on top of workers. Cutting corners could also mean failing to use appropriate monitoring and safety equipment that would cause fires and other hazards. Cutting corners always lead to more expensive repairs along the line and can affect the health of the industry as well as that of its workers.
Ghana is very "rich" in half-completed projects, and improper budgetting and inadequate funding is a major underlying reason.
Having said that, I think we Ghanaians should be respectful of other nations. We should stop calling India names, and instead, ask our Govt to due its due dilligence.

On what basis does Ekow Duncan supports his charge "“You know what the Indians can possibly do?...They will at one stage spend the money, abandon the project and go away and the liability will be [for the] Ghana Government,”. Why would the Indian government be so reckless, as Mr Duncan suggests?Indian sugar industry is the second largest in the world. It is supported by an array of technology suppliers who compete in the global market. With Ghana's economy developing fast, with rising middle classes, and sugar consumption increasing, any means to cut imports through local production is surely a fine thing. Mr Duncan, clearly thinks otherwise.

Every country including India have citizens who believe that no foreigners should be allowed to do anything of a business nature period. It always sounds so simple. Ask the Congress Party as they did this for 60 years.
