And what is more painful is the fact that no matter how strong the outcry, how outrageous the dupery, the powers that be are quiet as one would expect accomplices to do. How can this gaping robbery, where the construction of a 2 kilometer airport project cost as much as $29million, go unquestioned by anyone in the government? How can Mahama and his female minister expect us to believe everything is right?
Mahama rarely raises a question in the face of open national robbery. And when it's raised by anyone, he goes into his dead goat mood.
Is there a Ghana or is it a free for all goat meat? Only Rawlings should be able to answer it. After killing many in the name of stamping out corruption, he left the government with an indemnity clause to cover his back and, in the process, setting a precedence for many to expect a cover for no matter how much corruption they perpetrate.
