They have colluded with NDC to dune the State. They don't deserve a dime. The contract was legitimately terminated by the World Bank, Ministry of Local Government, and The LGPSU of ILGS. I know this case very well.

The. monies could have been used to provide modern classrooms for our leaders of tomorrow.
If the government lawyers do not know how to write contracts,it should be contracted to the private law firms.
They will do a good job.
The moment you enter into a binding contract, the other party starts spending money and time in preparation to discharge their obligations. So you CANNOT go back to abrogate it at will without incurring some form of damages.Because the aggrieved party needs to recover monies spent and be compensated for time wasted and the opportunity cost of not pursuing other contracts.
It is about time we held the government lawyers JUST APPENDING their signatures on these contracts to account for the consequent losses.
It is becoming annoying and unpardonable to unnecessarily waste our financial resources when some children are schooling under trees at the mercy of vulture droppings and vagaries of the weather and squatting on the floor to study.

Btw,what is holding back the release of the Judgement Debt Commission`s Report, which will lay bare the complicity of Judges,Attorneys[working for both the State and private firms],as well as other high-ranking govt functionaries from across the political divide,of this nation.
Those who have turned the mantra:"Create, loot and share",into a political theme song, are plainly dishonest!
