The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.
This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

The mob rules Mr. Short's brain... This is absurdity. It is on record that an armed robber on bail went to shoot the police man who arrested him.

Why should judges receive training in this respect?thought they were competent enough why they are appointed in the district place. In most cases as soon as you plead not guilty then the next you here is my lord prosecution would like the suspect remanded for ferder investigation and it's granted just like that, sometime now aguement stall from the police and yet the person LLC be remanded even dough it's a bailable offence.it's only Africa that suspects re arrested before investigation re made, sometimes police take bribes and simply twist facts for suspects to be remanded. Discretion
Yes but wrong discretion can be problematic.

The way judges treat remands is pathetic. Sometimes the judge will bot attend court and remands have to go back to cells.
