  At the current interest rates who in his right thinking will go for a loan from any bank in Ghana?.The government is itself competing with all other businesses and individuals for loans because it is always cash strapped.This has made borrowing very expensive for the ordinary and therefore these sorts of pronouncements are only for propaganda.The loans regime as known under Kuffour's administration where people were being chased to come for loans are gone.
