  Dr. Spio-Gabrah, what is your reason for asking the Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) to hold off i.e. suspend the implementation of G-CAP?It makes no sense whatsoever for a Minister of your caliber to come up with that stupid idea. Did you Mr. Minister of Trade decide the suspension of the implementation of G-CAP as a means to make it possible for your friends "importers" to be able to flood the country with non-conform and inferior foreign goods from China as well as dangerous drugs?
  I take my hat off for the leadership of GSA for doing what is best for the country and it's citizens.
  I remember during his confirmation of Dr. Spio-Gabrah as Minister of Trade, some influential personalities expressed their steadfast opposition to his nomination for reasons best known to them. Unfortunately, their serious concern about Mr. Spio-Gabrah affection to satisfy the well connected to him has been revealed by the direction the pendulum of his allegiance swings to.
