John is himself the number one thief, so how can he discipline thieves. He has to steal to look after his 23 or so children. Therefore all hands on deck. All appointees must must take whatever they can grab. This man is simply unfit to be president.

Ghana will definitely be better off without John Mahama. The monies being given to our very stupid chiefs is stolen money. it is monies that should go to repair our roads.

Instead of asking for proof, we need to have more surveys that is how you get credibility with pollsters. Polls are just the public's opinions. I am not surprised that the police came in number one, because most Ghanaians think the police is corrupt because they always ask for bribes. It is not because there are some metrics to support the claim. The pollster can show you the series of questions asked and the data collected and that is all, unless the proof being asked for is the data collected from the survey -- not sure what proof Omane is asking for.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Our experience with the quack neo-communists is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for six years, the NDC has failed again to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy.

Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one

The other evidence is the inability of the presidency to lead the fight against corruption. Years later Woyome's casesis still unresolved. Nayele drug trafficking accomplices have just been left off the hook for lack of prosecution.
The truth is, the eternal fight we're all engaged in is truth versus error, right versus wrong, corruption versus incorruption. Wickedness does not fight wickedness. It takes a president who is corruption-free to lead the fight against corruption. It's already a lost battle if the presidency is corrupt or fiscally wayward. Leadership by example is what is lacking but needed to wage the war against prevalent corruption. Corruption cannot fight itself. Those who refuse to fight corruption, on whose side do you think they are? They are against the corruption crusaders, against all Ghanaians if the leadership is weak or perceived to condone corruption. The proof or evidence of official corruption is all around us. So it was in the case of the merchant bank loot, where John Mahama was again tasked by the late Atta Mills. At the end of the process, merchant bank had visited the canvas and Atta Mills was no more.
Today, we are being told that the budget of the Presidency has been exceeded by over 100% and the very nature of the expenditure cannot be explained by anything under the Sun.
