Some of these MPs do not have the commonsense to initiate some conversations. The cost of power does not depend on the length of time it is available but rather on the gadgets used. The anxiety to get everything done around the house before losing power again will definitely cause consumers to do a whole lot of things as soon as power is switched on each time. All electrical gadgets consume a lot of power on start up.
I am please not holding breath for ECG but please let this topic be discussed with a little more technical insight than just a cheap political propaganda.

Whatever the subject matter is the root course must be examined.This DUMSOR or whatever it is,has become the very reason why folks must comply to erratic power use which in the long run will affects the national grid thus making the situation worse with time.His point was not the amount of power used at any given time but it's consistency,baring in mind businesses loses a great deal because of the erratic nature of things right now and the need to supplement where the govt is failing.THE MP IS JUST CALLING FOR A REPRIEVE FOR THOSE WHO MUST PAY THESE HIGH BILLS AND STLL USE SUPPORTING MEANS AS GENERATORS WHICH IS EQUALLY COSTLY AND MAKES STANDARDS OF LIVING QUITE HARD.
