Please give us a break with such useless articles just to cover things up.We live in a system where each and everyone has the right to speak up his mind. The comment of one man cannot decide who wins the next elections. The Government should fix the crisis Ghana finds itself today and stop lavashing around. It is only an ignorant who will blame someone for the mess he or she has caused.Running away from the realities on the ground, and trying to throw dust into the eyes of people will not always succeed. To blame the oppostion after six years in power is a sign of resignation. In Ghana after all these accusations of Akans against the rest of the nation,we do live in peace without any bloody conflicts.A city like Kumasi houses almost all the tribes from our dear nation, and yet all live in peace. Please stop this nasty propaganda and focus on how to move foreward

It is not who recorded the bigoted utterances that matter. It is what was communicated to the people in that message that is important. If people know what they want to say is offensive they should not say it. If they do, they should stand up to face the consequences.
In fact such message as Osafo Marfo gave bothers on treasonous instigation. It undermines the national cohesion among all ethnic groups that holds the country together as a single unit.
Osafo Marfo has, by this message, sounded like a treacherous politician, who would rather see Ghana fall apart. It is interesting to note how, in this day and age, many of our so-called well-educated elites are so primitive in their presentation of even genuine grievances. While the Europeans are frantically trying to build a huge single multi-ethnic diverse Union, almost like a single Nation, we Africans have been undermining our cohesion, continentally and nationally. We are so consumed by greed that we can hardly entertain sharing our National resources fairly among us.
While we must all condemn what Osafo Marfo said, however, we must also seriously search for any related problem that might have caused him to say what he said.
If others from areas less endowed are by deliberate design clamoring to amass wealth with resources from the rich areas at the expense of those from those rich areas, that would be intolerable and immoral. We must pay due attention to prevent that. But it is as well wrong for Osafo Marfo to, summarily, require that others from the poorer areas must not be allowed lead us in Government. Many factors go into the suitability of who we designate to manage our assets. Our Laws must protect the interests of all Ghanaians. Resource sharing must be done wisely for those from areas producing those Resources to satisfactorily accept whatever goes to the other citizens in other areas. We cannot develop some areas at the expense of others. In fact, the harnessing of natural resources has the tendency to stress out folks on whose land such resources are exploited. Apart from having to cope with the sharing of such resources with others not hailing from their areas, often these real owners of the resource areas are left with environmental hazards from the extraction of the resources, as well as being denied the fuller use of their land for other purposes to improve their lives.
Such is the Oboasi, Prestea and Akwatia areas where locals are denied farming on their own land, while receiving no direct returns from the Gold, Manganese, Bauxite and other minerals exploited from there. Meanwhile, the environmental hazards left behind are injurious to their health.
Any fair Administration in Ghana must take more serious approach to resolving such concerns of fellow Citizens whose backyard and land produce our natural resources.
Osafo Marfo could have laid down his case in a much better way than he did. But we must as well not simply brush aside the very true worries of the people he intended to rile up.
Surely, we must not tolerate nepotism and cronyism but we must not tolerate tribalism that would deny equal opportunities to others because of their ethnicity, tribe, or geographical origin within the Country.
Our politicians must be rigorously vetted to see how committed they are to fundamental fairness for all. Being in power does not mean directing the most or the best of our resources to your home area or your folks alone. But similarly, those from the areas better endowed with resources must not claim exclusive access to those resources to leave others in a permanent depravity.
Long Live Ghana!!!

What's being spread on the airwaves and social media is all NDC's grand orchestra to cause chaos and destroy the NPP ahead of the 2016 elections. They're cleverly attacking the NPP from all fronts, but the leaders of the party don't seem to realize what's going on around them.
They started with a purported tape recording by NPP's Northern Region leader followed by this one. There's more to come so, the NPP leadership better wake up from their slumber and act now. Don't sit down to see yourselves in a deep hole, only to turn around to blame Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
I've listened to how NPP reps. argue on various national topics on Capt. Smart's "Dwasons3m" morning program. I should admit that some NPP reps. sound ill-prepared. Nana Akomeah and Ken Agyapong are the only panelists who come to the program, well prepared with facts. NPP should begin to educate our reps. and arm them with facts---there're lots of them---to help prepare them to tell the story as it is in the country. There's no need to tow NDC's propaganda lines. Differentiate yourselves from the pack of propagandist and liars in the country. Tell people the truth, but you'll have to be prepared.
The said tape that's being circulated by the NDC is yet to be authenticated! But the truth is that Rawlings and his AFRC/P-NDC had a secrete agenda; they believed Akans were dominating everything in Ghana. They also believed they could reduce or subdue, or more so, by neutralizing them by destroying their business etc. I've pointed these facts, right here on Ghanaweb many times---this isn't the first time.
It's time to wake up and tell people the truth. Akans are very enterprising; they're very friendly and tolerant. There Zongo communities, Anglo or Ewe communities in every Akan city or big town like Asamankese, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Akim Cape-Coast, Kumasi etc. We've lived happily together until Rawlings and his gang came on scene. Those who're aware of the business that AFRC/P-NDC seized from their owners (Akans) like late B.A. Mensah (International Tobaccos) late. Siaw (Tata Brewery) Apiah Menkah (Alpino Soap), just to mention a few, will understand my point.
The very people who came accusing others of corruption; those who preached probity and accountability are themselves guilty of the crimes they preached against in higher levels. This unacceptable and people must be bold to speak up!
Interestingly, the NDC would turn around and point accusing fingers at anyone (Akan) who'd want to complain about this threatening trend, which has the tendency to divide our great country. It's time to face facts. There should be a national debate about this threat else we're going nowhere. The NDC intends to use this to destroy the NPP. Time to stand up. It take courageous people like Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo to voice things out.
