  Statelessness does not mean what the article says. If someone is denied privileges or whatever, that government should be held responsible. Who in West Africa is without a state? If a nation finds itself in a civil war and the war ends, what makes some people stateless? People who are displaced due to war are not stateless they should rather be encouraged to go back home. A case in point are Liberian refugees who trooped into Ghana. These people cannot be classified as "stateless". They are Liberians and should go home. They fled a war and since the war has ended, it is time for rebuilding and these people should go home to help.
  
  I am not being petty because it can happen to we Ghanaians and that does not qualify us as "stateless" people. Statelessness to my understanding means people without a state. That their home nation does not exist no more and through humanitarian gesture, can move to another nation as refugees then later on, granted nationality in their host nation. But if ones state exist but the government is denying her citizens some privileges or whatever, why should other nations bear that responsibility? I do not get.
  
  There is no scenario like that anywhere in Africa so, where from this? Mahama should not sign anything that will see a surge in refugees into Ghana because we have too much problems already.
  
  If NDC government sign this, we should expect the influx of Fulanis or any other nationals trooping into Ghana with some stupid excuses. Recently, Mahama Ayariga said that outsiders see Ghana as a "paradise" and that should be a food for thought.

  Quatara whose wife is a French citizen chairing this is no surprise as you can also see France using her power within the UN to pull the strings from behind.
  African leaders especially those from Ghana are just as dumb as they come.

  THAT PEOPLE CAN RESORT TO ENGAGE IN NON-EXISTENCE PROBLEMS WHILE IN TRUTH AND REALITY THERE ARE MYRIADS OF PROBLEMS CONFRONTING THE ECOWAS THAT NEEDED CONCERTED EFFORTS TOGETHER TO ADDRESS AND I AM PREPARED TO APPEAR AT ANY PLATFORM OR ANY PRO-ACTIVE PROBLEM SOLVING FORUM TO HELP TOGETHER SOLVE THE MYRIADS PROBLEMS FACING THE ECOWAS.
