The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.

This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

Some idiots insulted me for stating what these people have said they will do. Now listen to these tribalists warning the President and and giving him ultimatum to reinstate Bani not because he was a good worker but rather he is an Ewe, oh! and Ewes have the temerity to accuse anybody of being tribalists.

I have never seen in this forum any Akans, especially Asantes giving ultimatums to any government for relieving any Asante from his or her position.

If this demo can cause the govt to mount various press conferences and have apologists to defend the darkness and despair which they have inflicted on our Ghana, then we are succeeding as a democratic nation. Let them fix the issues rather than talk and insult their opponents. It seems we have been cursed since the unexplained death of President Mills. Not until someone comes to tell us the truth we will continue to live under this curse and its attendant effects- darkness, financial problems, etc.
