The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.

This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

It is a sign of the type of irresponsible governance Ghana has been saddled with for the likes of Ofosu Kwakye to say, a debt of $27billion dollars which has been looted and mismanaged, and as a result of their ineptitude and total incompetence, the value of the cedi which has depreciated to make an analogous comparison that by a similar measure, the debt has also decreased.
It's either a mark of gross irresponsibility, mind-boggling incompetence or wretched propaganda. It is no wonder in the least bit the country consequently is in the doldrums.

I'm now having my doubt about the economic status of Dr Bawumia because no economist will put up such a baseless argument on foreign debt. If what he is saying is economically true then it means that wages/salary of employees must be increased or decreased on monthly basis based on the level of the rate of inflation. Dr Bawumia, if he is a true Dr in economics, then the earlier he move away from political blindness and nonsense the better for him to redeem himself from public mockery he has brought to himself.

When would Bawumia say something sensible and intelligent? For sometime now, I refuse to address himas 'Dr' because he has not displayed any level of academic or intellectual calibre to justify my calling him 'Dr'. If Bawumai knows how much the government has has borrowed, he should just say it by producing the facts/evidence and then present his economic analysis for the benefits of Ghana. All this 'I know the answer and you don't know it. like school children bickering or just to prove that they are more intelligent than the other is no mature leadership or relevant in the adult life. Practical actions and effective outcomes tells more of the personality than the useless and meaningless chants. As a reminder to Bawumia, he should be aware that there no time to waste for the election 2016. Ghanaians are more interested to hear and participate in the discussions regarding the alternative policies of NPP and other opposition parties. NPP must stop the 'Agbeshie Woyomeh' syndrome!

Now, you talking the layman's sense and understanding of our economic nightmare. The NDC wants us to think and believe what happened 6 years ago is still the same as today. They say, forget about the interests, forget about the costs associated with it, forget about real value and only think about the original numerical assigned value when you borrow. Our market women can school us better with all the exorbitant rates the bankers are killing them with. NDC wake up. Even our chicken know their masters can't afford the luxuries of their 'chick' days. Gone were the days when they could go in the barn kick-spread the corn kennels to their delight. They now fight just for who gets a pick.
