This all go to show why we black people are cursed and will never make a significant contribution, let alone be able to run a country. It is a sad state of affairs if after 55 years of independent, the black man is still not capable of managing it country and economy. We do not have the vision planning or managing, it is what we came to see and that is that. Why oh why did our forefathers, thought that we were capable to let alone to look after ourselves. It is so sad when you go round Accra and see the destruction and the derelict. Things have stood still from the day independent was given. All Ghanaian should be shamed of the current situation in the country. The sad part is that most of the ministers were probably educated outside country and have therefore seen for themselves how the Europeans countries run, so instead of people coming onto this site and chatting crap, look in the mirror and if you are Ghanaian you should be shamed. The attitude of people who post their stupid beliefs are all to blame for the country going to pots. Can the last person to leave Ghana please switch the remaining power off.

  Hon Odro these are not the kind of naive statements expected of you. Energy is a main driver of cost and production. If energy is sufficient and the cost is high, Industries will not be able to produce and their profitability will be affected. Simple break even analysis requires that an Industry should produce to at least cover it's fixed cost to avoid value destruction.

They just open their mouths and say whatever comes into it. Does this man really understand how a business operate?Take a dress maker or a hairdresser who cannot use electricity to operate his/her business. How can this domsou not affect their business. This is just a simple example. think of other businesses which are larger and depend on the power, but cannot get it.Please stop taking Ghanaians for a ride.
