It is disheartning and eye sore to see passengers sitting on roof tops of moving trains in Ghana. One can immagine the danger associated with such adventure like a holy wood movie uncheck by the railway police b,cos of inadequate poor transport system in the country.Oh,Ghana, when are we going to see the light at the end of the tunnel,it is quite incredible, the whiteman left all these property for us as living examples to improve upun, unfurtunately, almost all have been destroyed as a result of careless handling of these money making enterprices especially by the military Regimes who thought it was cheaper to operate articulated trucks for haulage of goods than maintaining the Raiway transport.Come to Europe and see the efficiency of the Railway transport system which speaks of themselves.Government should take pragmatic steps to revamp the Ghana Raiway company,if even would necessitate partly private ownership to financially support the company to become economically viable to create jobs for the teaming unemloyed youth and improve our transportation system in the country and also serve as one of the bedrocks to reshape our dwindling economy.

AS YOU KNOW THAT THE GOVT. DO NOT HAVE THE ACUMEN FOR PAINLESS TAX AVENUE CREATION, IT IS GOOD FOR THE RAIL SECTOR TO BE IMPROVED TO A MODERN STAGE AND THAT WILL RAKE IN A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE COUNTRY, AND EVEN EXPAND TOURISM , AS THE BRITISH RAIL AND OTHER RAIL IN ADVANCE COUNTRIES ARE DOING.
DEPT. OF TOURISM SHOULD TAKE THIS ADVANTAGE TO PARTNER THE RAIL SECTOR, IT IS VERY LUCRATIVE.
