We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

the writer's comparison should have read "John Mahama administration will be the best, among all the ADMINISTRATIONS Ghana has had since Independence, in tackling the country’s recurrent power crisis." This would depersonalize the presidencies.

If the following statement the writer made is true and achievable, thus; "And by 2016, the expectation is that we will get close to having 5,000 Megawatts, and if that happens that would have been the best ever in the history of this country that one single administration, within four years, has achieved such a feat”, who would not agree with the gentleman but rather rain insults at him.

Ghanaians, we should face the facts, debate the facts and put partisan politics aside so that we don't confuse and mislead some people.

Beside power, good roads, education, elite civilian service, Mahama own administration can't even provide proper and continuos clean drinking water for his people within 12 hours in a day. Ghana two biggest cities Kumasi and Accra is drowned with garbage and harmful pollution which is the main cause of cholera outbreak, malaria and fever. The reason behind these is because Africans think that politicians are not regular people like us. This is because politics indulge in corruption in all aspect of the government. To give credit to John Mahama for something he has not accomplished is like building castles in the air. John Mahama is the worst president in Ghana history. He has mismanaged the economy of the country, and it will take close to 10 to 15years before any serious minded government could stabilize the economy.
The Dumsor is only a contributing factor, but the other parameters are still extant. Corruption ranks high, and since president and his ministers are all stealing with reckless abandon, there is no way Ghanaians would see any improvement in their hardships.
So upon what basis is Rashid Pelpuo praising Mahama for his efforts. Ghanaians are not interested in efforts of the president, because his numerous promises were never fulfilled.
Rashid Pelpuo is praising Mahama because he fears he might be a casualty in event of any reshuffle. His praises are calculated attempt to put him in the good books of Mahama notwithstanding his poor performance.
To say that Mahama stands tall among all presidents is not only infantile, but requires a psychological evaluation of the sanity of Rashid Pelpuo as a minister of state.
John Mahama has a lot of such questionable characters in his government, and the only distinguishable mark about them which is worthy of note is the level of corruption and the arrogance as exemplified by the sports minister Mahama Ayariga in his failed attempt to justify the unreasonable expenditure on the Black Stars($8m) against the winning prize of $1.2m which does not make any economic sense to a JSS pupil. When money falls into the hands of fools, they become arrogant.
