    I cannot understand why we keep throwing money into a bottomless pit, knowing very well that we cannot recover it. Has the government sealed all the holes or exits where revenue from State owned companies leak?

    Ministers from! And you are absolutely right,until the right policies are put in place to plug the gaping holes in the mgmt of these State-owned outfits,te govt will simply be pouring money,we do not have, down the drain!

    Once the buses land the old folks will come forward with their so called this is the way things are done,the next time we hear about STC, it is on its kneels again. God forbid!!!.

    They will still steal and destroy the company again.
    Everybody is stealing in Ghana so what is the point in putting money in there again.

    WHAT IS THE POINT IN BUYING NEW BUSES EVERY FEW YEARS WHILE WE HAVE TRAINED MECHANICS WÄLKING AROUND THE COUNTRY UNEMPLOYED.

    They will buy new ones so that somebody can pocket his/her 10%. That is the rational behind the acquisition is new buses etc.

    STC must work hard to improve its services and so rebuild its customer base.

    The emphasis should be on the services to the principal urban centres. Management should cut out waste, inefficiency and corruption.

    Couldnt the Government have commissioned Neoplan Ghana to assemble state of the art Neoplan Buses for STC rather than importing Scania Buses from outside for them? I thought this government has it as a mantra "Made in Ghana"?
