The reason people say that Nkrumah must be forgiven is that Danquah virtually catapulted Nkrumah from oblivion into a respected Nationalist.

Danquah brought Nkrumah back into Ghana upon the recommendation of Ako Adjei to serve as the general Secretary of the UGCC only for Nkrumah to break away to form his own party. Nkrumah negotiated for a good salary before coming down to Ghana.

Nkrumah defeated Danquah in the polls.

That is the issue.

We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

Next, there were a number of people who contributed to bringing Nkrumah home. The last h person is the Ga man Mr. Lamptey of Abeka Lapass. His wife has a school and he was a former vice chairman of the NPP. He contributed twenty pence. He is 94 years old.leaders must focus on real issues facing the nation such as the Auditor General's reports, 1993-2013, where civil servants have stolen billions of Cedis.

If not how can a person who understand issues talk like this?. This guy presided over our currency redenominations. Can he tell us how much of our money in circulation at the time was redenominated? Dr. Bawumia is absolutely right on this, and Ghanaians should set partisanship aside to listen and pay attention to his analysis.

The President himself admits there has been massive corruption in his Outfit. So, what, in the World, is prohibiting him from taking his culpable Officials to the Courts for retrieval of the stolen State Funds?

Ghanaians have waited far too long to see any substantive action by the Mahama Administration to retrieve all these huge amounts his Officials have looted from the Nation. If he has no hand in the dubious corruption that these Officials have been perpetrating against the Country, why can't he order for the swift and exhaustive execution of Justice on these cases?

The President's failure to collect these monies back alone is enough baggage on his back to hamper his winning in 2016. Meanwhile, many of these Officials suspected in these crimes are still lurking around within the Government, instead of languishing in Jail.

Even if the President assumes all these many huge financial losses were due to mere ineptitude of his Officials and not to any deliberate stealing, he should have long sacked these Officials and replaced them with more competent ones, irrespective of the replacements' partisan affiliations.

We need patriotic Citizens with expertise and willingness to perform excellently at their posts. We do not need Officials appointed to various posts based on their exclusive affiliation with the ruling Party.

SADA alone epitomizes a certain aloofness of the Presidency in ensuring that vital projects into which hefty amounts had been infused succeeded.

Yes, it is a big shame that SADA leading Officials who embezzled the funds for the Program are themselves sons (and perhaps, daughters) of the areas the Program was supposed to help. It is huge betrayal of their own people. And if in the future, any other Government decides to add other Officials from other parts of the Country to help the Program succeed, no one should criticize the Government that it has sidelined natives of the area in managing the Program. After all, it would be better to allow outsiders help than let natives ruin the Program. Surely, there are many other natives of the area who could have done better, and had the idiotic partisanship not been engaged in, the Program could have succeeded to help the area as planned. No Citizens of the area must therefore cry for the prosecution and incarceration of their own who stole from the Program, or criminally mismanaged it.
