The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.

This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

NPP, on the other hand, are prepared to ruin the country if that will give them power. For example, Nana Addo was happy to lock down the country for 8 months for the Supreme Court to hear his frivolous and vexatious suit. After the court case the country has been struggling to recover from the after effects. And lo and behold, Nana started jumping about that JM cannot manage the economy, knowing very well that his 8 months lock down is the cause.

After all those sabotages failed Nana recently ordered the burning down of the Central Medical Stores!!!

Guys and SGT, pls let be serious here, just take a minute and read and research about the media in the developed countries and even those in Nigerian. We the people fight among ourselves while those in power, listen very those in power waste our resource and subject us to economic hardship. Talking about and insulting Nana Addo and NPP will not move the country any where.

Irrespective of what you think, NPP did very well during their time and they are out of power, at the moments there is no need to worry about them. All the government appointee headed by the presidency are responsible for our well being and if they fail, we should all vote against them.

Please let be serious about our political engagement unless you are part of the create, loot and share team.

Instead of addressing the issues facing the country and moving the wheels of development further along, than what they came to meet, by their sheer incompetence, grotesque thievery, propaganda and mismanagement, Ghana has retrogressed and stagnated by almost a decade.
The Mahama NDC gov't have managed to within 6years reverse Ghana's progress by about 10 years and still counting.
The disarray, cluelessness, ineptitude all underpinned by a very healthy appetite for thievery by the Mahama NDC gov't has brought the country to a screeching halt.

Its soo funny when people are employed with no proper job description only to be assigned with duties on as-and-when basis. This role clashing is needless in the first place if there is properly defined responsibilities for each and every of such presidential staffers so that people will be accountable for the state monies spent on them.
