what is all these colonial mentality. we cannot deal with ourselves, but going to sign trade deal with Europe. what is wrong with us, we cannot come together to do something good for our future generations. we are even more connected as one people than Europe, yet Europeans have opened up their boarders to allow free movement of their people for business, why can we also do that.

Some Nigerians can stomach the fact that Ghana is developing now as a rapid rate and if takes the gas to slow us down then why not.
Now Ghana is going through this energy crisis all as a result of gas supply from Nigeria not being honored. It is said that they paid back £10m for breach of contract so they would rather pay back money than supply us with the gas as was laid down in the contract.
So these big high commissioners saying cooperation makes no sense. Ghana has to be careful with any deal it enters into with Nigeria, for once bitten twice shy.
You can't trust Nigeria again like we did when we entered into the first agreement with them.

In the 21st century if Nigeria cannot conduct a smooth and fair election who is to be blamed . No wonder other country has little or no respect for the country. Nigeria so corrupt to the extent nothing is working. Electricity supply remain in shamble, INEC does not having no clue if the forthcoming election will hold . As a Nigerian sometime feel ashamed. Both the government, and ordinary Nigerian is to blame for the urgly situation in the country. I do not blame Ghana to conclude that Nigeria can never be trusted even after signing an agreement, and with special reference to the Gas deal where Nigeria government fail to kept her contract agreement and refund 10 million USD default penalty to Ghana was totally offensive and a disgrace to every Nigerian and African at large. Lastly, the world do not believe Nigeria can conduct any peaceful election.President Jonathan convoy was stoned in at campaign rally not once, and no arrest was made, and there were rumour it could staged by some PDP party member for voters to sympathize with the President, and whether it is true or not shows lack of unity among Nigerian especially in the North. There was even a plan to postpone the election ,and that not how a true democracy functions.Back to my point Ghana and Nigeria should work together in the sub region with the rest African nations. But trust comes first, and that remain very big obstacle to overcome in the continent .Nigeria abuse Gas contract with Ghana never a welcome development at all.It is time African country do away with corrupt leader, and stop pointing accusing finger to the developed nation.
