Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.
“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”
The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”
However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

Please.Prez Mahana terminate the contract of this woman contractor working on a drain behind African automobile mitsubishi at atico junction on the kaneshie odorkor road. Even the dumbest of men can see that the contractor is not competent an experienced to handle this job. Its so sad and cone 2016 Ndc will lose at atico junction because residents are so angry with their pipe lines that have been cut for months bu the contractor and the access road to their homes that have been dug out by the contractor. Disabled persons and the aged are unable to access their homes. The feeling now at atici junction is that the ndc government is insensitive to the plight of residents who now have to endure all this pain being meted out to them by this contractor who obviously has no clue when it comes to construction of storm drains. Oh ghana paaa nie. Oh mahama. We will never forgive you for the pain and suffering that you and this contractor have inflicted on us.i pray that the minister of works and housing visits this project site at atico junction. When the rains come its obvious that homes along the deep gulley that the contractor has dug will be washed away and lives and property will be lost. But who will listen to us?

Ghana is not for Ghanaians, the country is for politicians. Just as the money collected at the motorway check-points cannot be accounted for so will the little man's paid tax get stuck under the shoe of some fake tax collector. My dear, you do not have much to work with than crookish sticky fingers for politicians and law makers gone wild. You and I are both barking at the moon, except your voice might be a pitch higher than mine for whatever reasons. You have dogs in power, get used to it, Dog. If you are paid to come talk trash here, hey!!!!!!!!!!!!! trash on bro. This is your time. Use it wisely while it lasts. This time it is not oral tradition. Every occurrence is neatly documented and archived for judgement day, almost biblical. Take that to the bank, dude. We are all witnesses. The propaganda for fools is outplayed at this point. Sorry, but I think you have run out of tricks. Run man run and pray you wake up at the sunny side of the street. You may not be as popular as you portray yourself to be. If you only knew.

There is nothing in a construction contract that could be used to describe a contractor as lazy.
Contracts stipulate project completion timelines or mile stone, stipulate owner preferred manufacturers of material and or material specifications and or a project completion date. Which of the contract articles did contractors break?
In Ghana where government does not have a clue on the dispensation of public bid contracts or the appropriate ways to reimburse contractors for work done it not appropriate for government to label contractors as lazy and or resort to name calling because of political expediency. For over 4 decades government institutions have been notorious holding back paper work from contractors and or have not been forthcoming with payment vouchers because of our propensity for bribes under the table and that have produced the type of contractors who are willing to work with government delays. We get what we pay for
