When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

The decision to boycott activities at Manhyia by the Asante Regional Journalist Association is unfortunate. Just last year the Otumfuo was the Guest Speaker at their national event in Accra. The problem as described is a matter of protocol and security that seem not to be working effectively and can be easily resolved through dialogue with Manhyia.

Sometimes, exuberant officials can over-react for security reasons. For example, whilst attending the Abokyir Festival in Winneba with Rawlings as the Guest Honour, when he arrived at the dubar grounds, the crowd surge forward to welcome. In that scenario, we were all concerned for Jerry's security and some of us had step in though we were not officially part of his personal security. Cameramen who were not part of accredited media were coming very close to take pictures with very powerful camera. What came to my mind was how President Sadat of Egypt was assassinated with a gun disguised as a camera. I took it upon myself to seize the camera of one such non accredited cameraman. It turned out he was a student of Ghana Institute of Journalism who needed pictures for his course work. Fortunately, he turned out to be my junior at Augustine's and I let him go but advised him to be careful next time by not breaking protocol and security.

The Asante Regional leaders of GJA should talk to Manhyia and resolve this problem because Ghanaians and the world will miss media coverage of such the rich culture.

I have similar story to tell too. I also accompany a DC( District Commissioner ) in one of the past glorious days to a village in Brong Ahafo. I saw a man in the crowd wielding matchete and a bukutu pot. This man was forcing his way to get closer to the DC. I sensed danger so I quickly seized the matchete and the brukutu pot. I later found out that he was a palm tapper who wanted to give to the DC his finely tapped palm as his appreciation for his good works. I also found out that the palm wine tapper and Asiedu Nketia were partners in business. Incidentally both of them were my seniors in Seikwah RC middle school so I gave back his matchete and the brukutu pot. End of my story.

It has been reported that a reptile was pushed into the stomach of an Akyem who visited the Ashanti Regional capital.

If you look at the back of the cedi note you would see the picture of the Big six; so called because they were prepared to die for Ghana to achieve independence for which they were imprisoned. Of the six 3 were Akyems and a fourth was married to an Akyem who became the first lady.

Why then do you hate Akyems?

J. B. Danquah stood for president and was not successful. William Ofori-Attah stood for president and was not successful. Akufo Addo who is half Akyem has his story unfinished.

Akyems make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region. Today because of negative government developmental practices from independence some have become so proud that they can look at Akyems condescendingly.

Over the last 100 years revenue from the Akyem-Akwatia Diamond mine, alluvial gold, cocoa and palm oil from Akyem have been used to develop the whole of Ghana including providing scholarships for some Ghanaians.

Even the Pope sometimes address gathering in English, I believe that it's a momodern way of welcoming others into your land, and on top of it all English is the national language in Ghana if you care to know
