Does our education's subjects contents match local issues the nation confronts? Whereas one issue like corruption has turned the country upside down, we are busy studying English histories, shipbuilding in Japan and those bunch of nonsense, how far have the contents of our education been changed to address corruption, talking without action, etc?

The issue is not about churning out graduates like some sausage factory, but whether those graduates can be gainfully employed and utilized in our quest for the status as a middle income Nation.
Currently, there are so many graduates who are unemployed. Therefore increasing the number of graduates alone is a non sequitur. What is required is rather creating meaningful jobs that goes towards achieving the status as a middle income Nation, and using tertiary education as a feeder for these jobs.

After listening to some of the so called educated and elite especially the lawyers in Ghana,I have finally understood why the country is retrogressing. Our education has never served any purpose except corruption and dishonesty.Forget about ghanaians abroad returning home to invest. When you employ a ghanaian, they only come in to steal from your business. This a fact.
