I have always believed that conservatives are either pretentious in what they purport to believe in or they show contempt and disdain in public for precisely what it is that they are in the closet. My one question to NPP leadership is would anyone of them prefer to live under the social order or political structure of Saudi Arabia than those of Ghana?
Saudi Arabia has one of the worst human rights records of any government and yet with political correctness run amok the political elite class in Ghana wants to cow tow and pander for Muslim votes by publicly mourning the death of a leader in Saudi Arabia who presided over an unjust system. The NPP destroyed Ghana's way of life with the orchestration of the 1966 coup and yet hypocritically applaud and support governments in other nations of the world for carrying out the very law and order that were the mainstay under the Nkrumah regime. Would the NPP want women in Ghana to be subjected to the laws governing women in Saudi Arabia? Does the NPP concur and accept counter measures taken by the governments in the USA, Britain and across European nations brought on by acts of terrorism they face? If so then how does history and facts square with the very lame excuses used to justify the 1966 coup while the leadership of the NPP shamelessly send praises and mourn the death of those who reside over acts of brutalities over their subjects when the NPP could not see to the return of Nkrumah's body to his country?
America owes some debt and gratitude to Saudi leaders but for self interest despite human rights violations in Saudi Arabia but what does Ghana get for being sheer puppets? Can anyone show what we get for being blind, dumb and stupid for following the lead of others even as our country shows every sign of instability?
