Check the Free Zone companies in Tema and tell me "How many people do they emply? They use automation throu out and employ very few hands for cheap labour. They pay the ir country men in managerial positions high salaries and pay Ghanaians very low. When will our leaders wake up and know its not time for us to beg? MAHAMA has borrowed and borrowed and borrowed,yet our GOLD,COCOA,BAUXITE,MANGANESE,DIAMOND etc,are still being exported raw.
DUBAI,is being very smart in their move to take advantage on what we have neglected since time immemorial.
Ghana has millionaires who could have jumped on board to do what DUBAI,is planning to do,yet,thinking of marrying young girls and boasting of their money.
We have to fix our energy problems anyway,and maybe,our millionaires will start to process our raw materials.
DUBAI,I THINK,WOULD BE USING SOLAR PANELS,to generate power to man their factories in Ghana.

What benefit has the many European companies brought Ghana in the Tema Free Zone? Yes some process cocoa but send all to Europe. No restrictions as our SMEs and even large corporates face. They are free to repatriate all profits. They don't pay taxes for 10 years and pay 8% thereafter. Wo doesn't want this?
