What is baffling though is the number of people who have been killed, and kidnapped in Nigeria including over 200 school girls, and yet we did not see 44 world leaders descend on Lagos to show solidarity. I doubt if the Mali president who flew to Paris to march has even gone to Nigeria to lend his support. The response by ECOWAS countries and the world to Boko Haram has been abysmal and a shame.

Nigerians think they are smart and with the best army in the West Africa sub-region to take on any enemy that may confront them so, what is eluding them this time? Boko Harm, the terrorist organization is hard to reckon with because there are some powerful people in the government of Nigeria who are supporting them.
If that is not the case, I find it extremely difficult to understand why these groups are becoming so brave and attack with impunity despite the Nigerian army's effort to keep them at bay.
Ghana should not commit any of her sons and daughters to go and die needlessly due to one's religious principles.

Boko haram is not only a Nigerian problem because this lawlessness can spread to other WA states. They must be crushed in Nigeria with international support just as the West is fighting ISIS. The rich and powerful Nigerian Government officials supporting these thugs are the ones to be identified and eliminated first, if we are going to defeat boko haram.

May God save the world.
