You mean the economy will slow down if there is further reduction in fuel? Who taught you that. Reduction in the price of fuel will necessarily force better consumer bargain in most sectors of the economy especially now that there is financial difficulties everywhere. This man is the wrong choice for the NDC if this what they want to bring along again. What what is wrong at all with this president. It seems it is obvious failure has dawned and he is talking anyhow.

Wearing of political lenses everywhere we go. Are you saying that the Nation does not ow BDC over Gh¢400 million? Do you have any evidence? If we do ow such an amount. Were we not the beneficiaries of circumstances that led to the accumulation of that debt? If we benefited. What is wrong if we contribute in paying this debt? Again, are we saying that 10% reduction in fuel price is insignificant? Should we have said same, if the 10% was an increment? Our concern, I think, should be how judicious is government going to use the proceed from the fuel price, to benefit Ghanains. As of now, GPRTU fails to reduce fares, following the reduction in fuel prices. Meanwhile, the law stipulates that fares must be increased, when fuel price goes up beyond 4%. By logic fares must go down, if fuel price goes down beyond 4%.

This is not about political lense but the truth. It is sad that Ghanaians are being asked to pay for the profiteering of NDC members.
The main reason why NDC will not reduce cost of fuel is because it is their Members who are importing the refined fuel sold to Ghana. So they buy cheap on Global Market and sell high in Ghana to make millions of dollars. That is the truth.
Ghana no longer import crude oil to refine at our refinery. But rather members of the NDC party and John Mahama's brothers import refined fuel for sale to Ghana at high prices for Ghanaians to pay. This is the new form of corruption and FRAUD being perpetrated on Ghanaians.
I know what is happening in the inner caucus that you dont know of.
Why are we not buy crude oil to refine but rather ask private people to import the finished products for government agency to distribute? The forum does not provide enough space for this discussion.

The price of crude oil will most probably reduce to below $40/barrel before the OPEC meeting.
