its not easy differentiating the good from the bad because the bible clearly says there will be wolves in sheep clothing among the sheep. But its gives us a clue to identify them 'by their fruits you will know them'.

Only God can be divinely and sinlessly perfect. The word "perfection" used for a man on the other hand just means to behave in a matured way. It doesn't mean sinless or without mistakes.

When the Bible says that "you are a new creation, the old is gone," do you understand? When it says you are to be a slave to righteousness, does it mean anything to you?
Be holy, even as I am holy. The Bible has said all these. So if see human beings are doing otherwise, does it take away the command to be perfect?
There are so many Christians who are just normally so. They won't obey. The true Christian must be LIKE Christ !! They should be perfect. They should pursue it with "all their minds, all their hearts, all their soul": that the way to be true to God.They should be "slaves to righteousness."
As for Muslims and Buddhists, they can answer for themselves.

Pastor did use the word STRIVE pls check the meaning of that word and it will help u. striving to the ultimate goal as a Christian is to be perfect though is hard, as a staunch motivational speaker he gives hope to people.
